how do you figure? if it makes 125 in my 4" gun, it sure is going to make 125 in my 14" gun. Or am I missing something? You could be right if I loaded powder puff rounds, but I do not.

You are right, it should make PF but sometimes the strangest things happen. I would double check just to make sure. My first PCC load was 130PF in my hand gun and 124.9 in my first PCC; a Sig. Between the barrel tightness and gas port being open too much it drove me crazy. I shoot a GMR-15 so no problems there. Just check and be sure.

    JP for sure!

+1. I have 2 GMR-15s. I thought I wanted to switch to a MPX but I like the reliability of the JP. I am not trying to start an argument but I had a Gen 2 and it drove me crazy how inconsistent it was. I do want to try the Gen 3 for fun though.

  3. The JP is the way to go for me. I had a Gen 1 MPX and I loved it for one match until I hated it after one match. The Gen 1's had to be very clean to run properly but it was a soft shooter. I moved to the JP and never looked back. I wanted a heavier PCC, coming from open I was just use to a heavy gun.

You will be happy with which ever one you buy. I would point out that the mag prices maybe something you should take into account.

Thank you everyone for your advice. I have had a chance to shoot the gun since adding the second spring and it’s running amazing again. Thank you all

I would recommend changing the springs at the beginning of every shooting season just to be safe.

do you mind sharing your N320 load for your GMR15, I did try 3.8 and it was a soft shooting load but the accuracy was not satisfactory, then bump my load to 4.1 gr and accuracy is now great. btw I'm using Frontier Match 124 gr. 1.125" OAL,  thanks

I pushed to 4.3 of N320. I'm using MG 124gr JHP @ 1.130. The MG tend to be a touch slower so I chose 4.3gr to make sure that I have room at the Chrono. It is still soft shooting and very accurate in GMR-15. I was at 3.8 but that only made 123pf for me. I found that out at Nationals.

3N38 runs soft, flat and clean in my guns.   Downside is that it is a FULL case.   I've tried pretty

much every powder suitable for Major 9, (and a few that were not) and I keep gravitating back

    to HS6.

True. It may be a little dirty but it simply works.
