I don't think Tanfoglio makes stainless mags. Many people mistake chrome for stainless and I do know they make chrome mags. however I don't think you want those mags because all the ones I have seen are the old crappy design that doesn't feed well.
You can always have your mags coated in nickel boron or something to make it low friction and rust proof. Someone had a thread on there I think talking about that a year or two ago.
Thanks for the info. I was looking at coating my mags but I wasn't sure if it was a good idea.

All,
I have a question. While I was watching Henning's video on loading 21 .40 S&W rounds into a mag, I noticed that his mag was stainless steel. Does anybody know who sells the stainless mags or what stainless tubs could be used. I am curious because I have the Mec-Gar magazines and I just shot a wet match and my mags started to rust a little and I want the slickness of the stainless mags. Let me know if anyone has an idea or if this question has been asked before.

I have heard that, when using Arrendondo base pads (with its longer spring) on Glock magazines for Limited, the No. 5 follower was most desirable. I have this set of old Glock 15 round .40 S&W magazines that have the No. 5 follower and I tried using them in my G35 with very poor results. I tried running my loads trough four different magazines and they all had failures to go into battery.
Prior to this, I had been using a newer set of magazines (minus the Arredondo base pads) and I was not having any issues. These magazines all have No. 8 followers in them. I will be installing the base pads on these and running them to see if I am still having the same problems (I just haven't had a chance to return to the range this week) but, in the mean time, I would like to ask: what followers have you been using in your Limited mags?
If the No. 5 followers are supposed to work well, could there be any other problem with the pistol that I can check into (cracked frame or something wrong with the barrel lugs)? I have looked and I couldn't find anything obviously wrong but maybe I am missing something.
I just purchased some Arrendondo base pads for my Gen4 G35 and they worked with all my mags. I had no problems. I didn't change the followers, I just changed the springs and the base pads. I have the newest mags and they worked great.

Was able to get (with help of a friend) a new Stock II. Switching over from a Glock 34, what do you guys recommend is the next step in making it a comp gun? I've ordered both the Blade Tech and Ghost holsters and picked up some new mags.

Where did you order your Ghost holster from?

I used to load cast 180's with 5gr Unique at 1.135 it was very accurate and made major all day long around 172pf
What type of weapon did you shoot this load with? I'm shooting a Tanfoglio Limited with a 4.75 barrel.

Forgot to add....I ordered five spare magazines. The dealer I ordered from mentioned that he only had two "good magazines" and that the others were problematic ones. How does one ID the good from the bad? I've read up a bit and see a bunch of comments about red, black, orange, etc.
When you get your mags they may not seat all the way. You"ll need to disassemble and use some 200 grit sandpaper to sand down the top of the mag base pad. It'll take about 3-5 minutes per mag.

So I just bought a Witness Limited and I'm curious if mounting thumb-rest would be illegal in USPSA Limited division?
Something to remember, as of Jan 1, 2013 thumb rests will be legal for the Limited Division. Check the latest Front Sight magazine on page 12.

I also run Warren/Sevigny sights. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

You are going to have go to Lowes and get some flat thin rubber washers. That was the only way I was able to get my mags to fit securely. Get the medium size rubber washers. It will be a little trial and error but it works. I think you will need either the 1.5-2 inch x .25 thickness.
