  1. I am eagerly awaiting your new book Brian. I have read your 1st book many times and each time I read through it I learn something new... Maybe you could publish a book on the basics only for us newbie shooters. Most of the content in your 1st book is so advanced that it will take most shooters years just to realize what you are talking about, let alone incorporate it. That is if they put away their "ego" long enough to truly understand it!!! The better I become at shooting, its because I am getting better at doing the "basics". Does this make sense???

I love my P7M8 and it is very accurate. Brian you posted on your old board that "wrangling with that trigger" could only help you shoot better. Could you please clarify??? I think it is a pretty good trigger but I don't have your experience and expertise. What are your thoughts on the P7??? Thanks
  3. I find that humming my favorite tune helps me not to analzye my shooting while I live fire. Once I begin to think about my stance, grip, trigger control etc I shoot alot worse. It is hard to live fire and just empty my mind and enjoy the experience. Any tips on how to "meditate while I shoot"??
  4. Thanks for all the help, it makes alot of sense!!! I can shoot groups very well, but alas I fell into the trap of trying to shoot all the bullets into the same hole all the time. Shooting has to come from a sub-conscious level. The "dime trick" makes me focus on the sight picture (front sight) and let my visual skills shoot for me. Are there any other dry firing drills that help as much as the dime???? I am eager to learn. I don't want to fall into a "dime on the front sight is the answer" mode, but it seems to really help alot.. I would love to know about other dry-fire exercises. Danke
  5. How valid is "dry-firing" with a dime on the front sight??? I have been working on this and it really seems to help my "live firing" This helps my trigger control. Does anybody else do this??? Love this new forum, and the fact that we can all learn from the "sage" himself--
