Wow...two fer.
Butch looks great buddy. We're looking at the other coast. Savannah to be more exact.
David - Good to see you and Sue are doing well!

There isn't crap up there. It's a crappy town!!! However, there are a couple of cool clubs in/around Kansas City (Mill Creek and Bullet Hole come to mind). Too, in Shawnee Mission, KS (just outside KC) is the Hodgdon company HQ. If you want to do a drive, you could go out to the Sierra/Starline plants. The tour is cool.

Jack - Fans are your friend. If it makes you feel better, we're in the upper 70's/low to mid 80's all this week with nice breezes coming in from the ocean to keep the temp down. Crystal clear blue sky and sunny can get old sometimes though.
On a serious side, peel down layers, get a fan and a glass of ice in front of the fan.

Weather delay from little kahuna.
Says that the thunder and rain was one thing, but the lightning forced a break.

Ray,
Competitive-ness? Use them in Pins (45) or Steel Challenge.
Like you said. Have fun with it.

That was awesome!

God bless Ronnie and his friends & family. Ronnie is a great guy and let's hope she went peacefully and with the knowledge that she's in a better place.

Can't see why not. Not like you're using full house loads in the SC.

Pictures would be nice.

Larry - Rest assured that EVERYTHING from AA&A is top notch stuff. The Army guys (AMU) do pretty well with it.

Hi Larry,
I'll say this for having big sticks that currently hold a paltry 27. I do pretty well with them. I can make a reload if there's 2 steps and it's rarely the case that it costs me time. Foot speed does help though.

Corey,
My 500GB external did great while I was in Afghanistan, including when I launched it (literally) across my room (by accident). I've had it for about 2.5 years now and most times it just hangs out and is off. I just turn it on as needed.

Best of luck to ya'. I challenge you to find a more helpful bunch of people anywhere. It appears you do not understand the loading process as much as you might think. You were offered help and opinions, you did not like the opinions. Had you been a little more thick skinned you would have all of your questions answered by now.
I echo sandman's statements, that you probably have bit more than you can chew to this point. A little bit of education of die sets, their associated jobs and uses would have been fruitful. While I'm all for seller disclosure, there are some things that are apparent and that includes a bit of personal accountability.
That said, nothing from Hornady equals anything from Dillon in the way of quality, service to customer and support of the shooting sports...especially the predominent one of the members of this forum and its host. And a thousand bullets is a drop in the bucket to being able to call Dillon for ANYTHING and getting it sent out the same day and repaired/replaced for free.

ETA: So that I'm not a total jerk, I bet if you contact of the OP of this thread he'd consider buying them off of you.

Larry - I just change them every year.

I can see that Dan has Blazing Saddles in regular rotation.

Jeff - Since you're used to a long trigger pull anyways (i.e. from your CZ/EAA and the M&P) there's no reason other than mag capacity (I don't know what a M&P mag in 40 with extensions hold) that you couldn't do well.
As for the 5" vs. 6" vs. sight radius of a M&P well...all I'll say is this. I'm pretty sure that Travis kid on the AMU uses a 5" gun and he's won a couple of big matches recently.

There in lies the rub.
Do you have an extra station, prior to the powder measure that will allow the use of a conventional belling die? If so, that's what I'd suggest. What I'd do is go buy a 550 (or other Dillon press).

From a UH-60 guy...Apache's are crap! They're slow and fragile.

ETA: Two more words to degrade Apaches....Nicholas Cage.

Let's hope SFC Hampton gets a Blackhawk on loan.
Heck...if they can do it at Benning for the Sniper Challenge...why not for us. It'll be good to get in to my air frame and not be crewing it or working on a patient in the back. Heck...at least this time I can enjoy shooting from it.

I've seen it (and have not been opposed to it) where with new shooters we'll have them start low ready or GSSF ready. It eliminates a potential source of safety concern until they're more comfortable. Ultimately, we're all adults (by age) and so after some discussion and review of safety, I ask them how they feel about it. Let's face it. First timers aren't going to win the match, so if there's a new guy who's nervous, dumbing down the rules for the sake of a guy coming back (to me) is an easy call.
Rich
ETA: Thanks Tom.
OP - 5.2.1 is pretty close. Tie that with 5.2.3 and I think you'll get it. 8.3.7.3 isn't a bad idea either.

Can I ask why?

Sndra - Did you get my RO e-mail?

Somehow I knew this mag was probably Glenn's. I just do whatever Beven says when it comes to mags.

Now I gotta dust off the 45.
Thanks,
