  1. Come out and join us for Hillside Shooting Sports on Sunday May 12, 2013 for the next match in the Indiana MultiGun Series. It will be a fun and challenging test of your rifle, handgun, and shotgun skills. We are planning on 6 courses of fire. MATCH DATE: Sunday May 13, 2013 Registration: 9:00AM (NOT A MINUTE BEFORE!!!) Registration Closes: 9:30AM SHARP. This allows the RO's other crew time to do the RO walk thru, go over any questions and any other last minute things. Shooters' Meeting: 10:00 AM Match starts immediately following shooters' meeting RULES: Indiana MultiGun Rules Please see our website, IndianaMultiGun.com for more info. MATCH FEE: $25 Adult, $20 for HSS Members(with VALID Club ID badge) $15 for juniors with paid adult. RO's shoot for free. INMG SERIES SPONSORS - IF YOU HAVE SHOOTERS AT THE EVENT, PLEASE EMAIL US THE LIST OF THOSE USING YOUR SPONSOR SLOTS. Approximate Round Count: 60 Rifle 60 Pistol 50 Birdshot 3 slugs Bring double that, as it sucks to run out, but you can always take some home with you. KNOW YOUR POINT OF AIM OUT TO ROUGHLY 350-400 YARDS. Target size for the long range is 1/2 scale IPSC AR500 Fuhrman Precision Flash Targets. If you shot one of our Multigun matches before, you can expect this match’s difficulty level to be similar. If haven’t shot one of our Multigun matches, you may find this match to be somewhat more demanding than your typical USPSA or IDPA club pistol match— expect some shots to be a bit more technically demanding, and some shooting positions to be a bit more awkward physically. Please see our website, IndianaMultiGun.com for more info. NOTE: that all matches at AtlantaCC, Wildcat Valley and Hillside Shooting Sports are conducted under a COLD RANGE as per USPSA rules. All guns must be either holstered (or bagged) at all times, unloaded, hammer down, with no magazine inserted. Long guns should remain bagged, or in a rack with an open action, and/or an "empty chamber indicator" (flag) in place. It is the shooter's responsibility to ensure that the muzzle of any gun is never pointed in an unsafe direction. You may only handle your gun only at the direction of the range officer (RO), or in the designated "safe areas." You may not handle any ammunition or loaded magazines in the safe areas. Violation of these or any other safety rules shall result in a match disqualification.
  2. Also, 58 registered shooters! Considering last year it was free and this year its paid registration, we are very happy with the turn out!
  3. Hillside Shooting Sports has stepped up BIG Time along with their donation of 2000rds of 40 S&W ammo, 500rds of Remington Shotgun ammo, plus a 5.11 Range Bag($125 value!), they have just donated 2 FN FNS 9mm pistols! Make sure you show support for Hillside when you are at the events at their range this year! They sure are supporting us!
  4. Its that time of the year folks! The season begins next week!!! Come out and join us at Atlanta Conservation Club <http://www.atlantacc.net> on Sunday, 4/7/2013 for the next match in the Indiana MultiGun Series<http://www.indianamultigun.com/>. We will have 5 fun courses of fire. *MATCH DATE:* Sunday April 7th, 2013 *Registration:* 9:00AM – 9:45AM *Shooters' Meeting:* 10:00AM (Must attend to shoot at the event per ACC rules) Match starts immediately following shooters' meeting *RULES:* Indiana Multigun Rules<http:// http://www.indianamultigun.com/Media/INMG%20Rules%202013.pdf> *MATCH FEE:* $25 - Adult, $15 - juniors with paid adult. $20 - ACC club members (must present valid member card) RO’s, registration crew and Saturday setup crew shoot free! *SET-UP:* Set-up will be on Saturday before the match. If you are not a Atlanta Conservation Club member, please email me at brianmi...@indianamultigun.com before coming out to help, as the gate is locked on non-match days and I'll get you my cell phone number so you can call when you arrive and I can let you in. *Approximate Round Count: * 60 Rifle 60 Pistol 50 Birdshot 5 Slugs We recommend that you bring double the numbers above to the match. You can always take ammo back home with you, but running out at the match is a bummer! If you shot one of our Multigun matches before, you can expect this match’s difficulty level to be similar. If you haven’t shot one of our Multigun matches, you may find this match to be somewhat more demanding than your typical USPSA or IDPA club pistol match— expect some shots to be a bit more technically demanding, and some shooting positions to be a bit more awkward physically. It will benefit you to know the point of impact (POI) of all 3 of your guns, from contact distance out to approximately 40 yards. Please see our website, IndianaMultiGun.com<http:// www.indianamultigun.com/> for more info. *NOTE:* All matches at AtlantaCC, Wildcat Valley, and Hillside Shooting Sports are conducted under a COLD RANGE as per USPSA rules. 5. The 2013 Season Start is only 2 weeks away! With our first event at Atlanta Conservation Club coming up soon I want to say thanks to everyone who has pre-registered and look forward to seeing everyone out this year. Couple things before we get to the first event: - We need volunteers to help at Atlanta Conservation Club for setup! If you come setup, you get to shoot the event for free! Brian was kind enough to take over for me after last year and it would be a shame to see him have as many issues as I did. - We need RO's for Sunday at the match. We have Myself, Tony, and Brian so far. 3 more would be great! Again, RO's shoot free. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Give Brian a hand. Without Brian stepping up we wouldn't have the expansion we do and the entire series would be even farther away for our southern brethren. Please contact Brian at brianmills@indianamultigun.com and let him know. There are plenty of helpers in the Atlanta area, if you can spare just 2 or 3 hours of your time that would be wonderful. Without the support of the volunteer's, our events will disappear.
  6. 46 Paid As of Today. I'll break down the classes in a few days.
  7. Once the new rules are up on indianamultigun.com this is how it will read: 6.4 Heavy Tactical Division 6.4.1 Handgun must be 40 S&W or larger and comply with Tactical rules 6.4.2 Shotguns must be 12 Gauge or larger and comply with Tactical rules 6.4.3 Heavy Tactical rifles must be 308 Winchester (7.62x51 NATO) or larger and must comply with Tactical-Optics rules 6.4.5 Rifle magazines may not be loaded with more than 20 rounds. Basically a USPSA Limited gun and a Semi Auto 12ga like you use for TO now is what you need plus a magified optic for your AR10/M1A/FAL/SCAR17/etc
  8. Hopefully Ryan gets the rules updated and sent to our webmaster ASAP.
  9. There will be. It will be Heavy Tactical. Heavy Metal rifle with 1 optic Handgun is 40 S&W but follows Tac Optic/Tac Limited rules for magazine capacity and specifications. Shotgun follows Tac Optics/Tac Limited rules.
  10. Sorry Greg, forgot the divisions: Divisions are as follows: OPEN - Anything goes rifle wise (custom actions, custom stocks, custom barrel, F-Class support systems, custom handloaded ammo) FACTORY - Factory Barrel/Action, can have after market stock, factory ammunition, Bi-pods and rear bags only, no vices or benchrest rigs. TACTICAL - 308 Win, 300 Win Mag, 223/5.56 - Tactical Style guns (Bolt guns setup like Military style weapons, Semi Autos), Bi-pods and Rear bag supports no vices or benchrest rigs. Factory Ammunition only. I didn't come up with the rules just doing the promotion. I'm working on changing the ammo part. No reason for someone using a factory gun but handloads and being forced to open. 338 Lapua Magnum is the largest round allowed, no 50 calibers.
  11. We will be hosting a Precision Rifle/Long Range rifle match at Hillside Shooting Sports April 28, 2013. Match Fee: $25.00 Make sure to come out and enjoy a great day at the Pistol & Rifle Range during our Precision Rifle Competition. This competition is great for beginner to advanced level shooters. This event will be using paper and steel targets at various known distances. This new Course of Fire was designed to test the performance and marksmanship of the shooter and their firearm. Testing both at distances from 100 yards to 1000 yards. We will be using “shoot-n-see” paper targets for closer ranges then utilizing steel targets for longer ranges. All targets (paper or steel) will be a "HIT" or "NO HIT", shooter must "HIT" 3 out of 5 shots on target to advance to next stage. Round count for this competition is 40 scoring rounds. There will be a 5 minute unlimited sighter period before each STAGE so make sure to adjust your round count accordingly. COMPETITION COURSE OF FIRE: STAGE 1: 5 Shots @ 100 Yards on Shoot'n'See Paper STAGE 2: 5 Shots @ 200 Yards on Shoot'n'See Paper STAGE 3: 5 Shots @ 300 Yards on 8” Steel STAGE 4: 5 Shots @ 400 Yards on 8” Steel STAGE 5: 5 Shots @ 600 Yards on 12” Steel STAGE 6: 5 Shots @ 1000 Yards on 40” Steel STAGE 7: 5 Shots @ 1000 Yards on 20” Steel STAGE 8: 5 Shots @ 1000 Yards on 10” Steel

  14. Registration is now open for the 2013 Indiana Multigun Series. Follow this link and click on Series Registration Form. http://indianamultigun.com/2013seriesinfo.html
  15. In an effort to help out our shooters we are instituting a lower round count at each match. Last year we had everyone bring 100 Rifle, 100 Pistol, 100 Birdshot and 5 Slugs. We are moving to 60/60/50/5. Since ammo is so scarce and stupidly price gouged, we are hoping this helps our shooters out.
  16. New Rules and Schedule should be up by end of next week. For now Registration is now open. If you select to pay by check, please email Jon and let him know. You can bring it to the first match in April. He will have a list of all those who have paid and need to pay. Follow the link below and click on Series Registration Form and fill it out. http://indianamultigun.com/2013seriesinfo.html
  17. 2013 Indiana Multigun Series T-Shirts available for pre-order now. Pre-orders can also be paid for at time of registration(opens 2/1/2013). $25 per shirt for sizes Small - 2XL $30 per shirt for sizes 3X - 4XL Note - Sponsors in Platnium and Gold to be determined. Cut off date is May 31, 2012 for Sponsors to have their logos to me. Shirts will be delivered to shooters at the July 28, 2013 event at Hillside Shooting Sports.
  18. All major announcements will now be posted to our facebook page only. This is in an effort to slim down the locations of posts, so we don't forget to tell anyone. You can find our facebook page at the link below: facebook.com/indianamultigunseries
  19. Pleased to announce that Lake Mortgage has signed on as a Gold Sponsor. When you see RePete out and about at our matches, tell him thanks!
  20. There was talk of just not having any HEAVY classes period due to extreme lack of interest. Sponsors prefer to have more shooters than even 5 when we try to line up things for Division winners.
  21. The long range Rifle is what I look forward to most in matches. Whats the point in having a 1-XX optic if all you want is shots 200 and in? We pride our matches on having distances out to 400, with the bonus target at 600 plus our other stages have hoser Rifle so it makes up for it.
  22. Minimum of 5 Shooters per qualifying Event to be eligible for Shoot Off qualification. HML had 3 total signed up. HMO had 1 shooter. The way Heavy Tactical's rules are written we are hoping it encourages more shooters. We will also be charging a $10 fee at the time of registration for the Series. This money is used to cover our expenses for various promotional expenses(Web Site, banners, etc) and other necessary costs that we can no longer pay out of pocket. This is also to encourage those who actually sign up to show up and compete, and for the divisions to meet the required minimum number of shooters.
