  1. Series Points are calculated by using your match percentage, ie what your placement percentage equals is how many points you get for that match. Indiana MultiGun 2012 Points Series 1. Points 1.1: Series points will be awarded based on percentage earned during a given match. For example, if a competitor shoots 75% of the division winning score at match “X,” then the competitor will receive 75 series points for that match.
  2. Should be a good weekend. I turn 27 Saturday, lookin forward to spending my weekend with fellow shooters
  3. Come out and join us for Atlanta Conservation Club on Sunday May 13, 2012 for the next match in the Indiana MultiGun Series. It will be a fun and challenging test of your rifle, handgun, and shotgun skills. We are planning on 6 courses of fire. MATCH DATE: Sunday May 13, 2012 Registration: 9:00AM (NOT A MINUTE BEFORE!!!) Shooters' Meeting: 10:00 AM(Give or take 5-10mins) Match starts immediately following shooters' meeting RULES: Indiana MultiGun Rules Please see our website, IndianaMultiGun.com for more info. MATCH FEE: $25 Adult, $20 for ACC Members(with VALID Club ID badge) $15 for juniors with paid adult. Half off for ROs. Half off for Saturday Set Up Crew. Approximate Round Count: 100 Rifle 100 Pistol 100 Birdshot 5 slugs Bring more, as it sucks to run out, but you can always take some home with you. KNOW YOUR POINT OF AIM OUT TO ROUGHLY 30-35 YARDS. I will be using Newbolds on 1 stage for rifle. Also, make sure you know where your shotgun is with slugs at 25 yards, we will be using 1/2 size IPSC for slugs at ACC. If you shot one of our Multigun matches before, you can expect this match’s difficulty level to be similar. If haven’t shot one of our Multigun matches, you may find this match to be somewhat more demanding than your typical USPSA or IDPA club pistol match— expect some shots to be a bit more technically demanding, and some shooting positions to be a bit more awkward physically. Please see our website, IndianaMultiGun.com for more info. NOTE: that all matches at AtlantaCC and Wildcat Valley are conducted under a COLD RANGE as per USPSA rules. All guns must be either holstered (or bagged) at all times, unloaded, hammer down, with no magazine inserted. Long guns should remain bagged, or in a rack with an open action, and/or an "empty chamber indicator" (flag) in place. It is the shooter's responsibility to ensure that the muzzle of any gun is never pointed in an unsafe direction. You may only handle your gun only at the direction of the range officer (RO), or in the designated "safe areas." You may not handle any ammunition or loaded magazines in the safe areas. Violation of these or any other safety rules shall result in a match disqualification.
  4. Reposting from INGO: What the majority of shooters need to realize is, KNOW WHERE YOUR GUNS ARE HITTING AT VARIOUS DISTANCES and to bring gear that actually works. In the 3 years I've been doing this now, I've seen more times than not someone take for ever on a stage because they "THINK" they have their rifle sighted in but really dont, or they have tons of issues with a shotgun or pistol. On some stages, if you spend 30rds trying to hit 4 targets, you wasted to much time and it doesn't matter any ways. If you have to put more than 3 rounds at any target, at any distance, MOVE ON, stop shooting, take the penalties and go on to the next. If you EVER plan on shooting any major match, get used to par times of 100secs...... some matches give you 100 secs for out to 500, with the shorter stages being only 75 seconds. The Par Times will be staying. Spending any more than 1min 40secs shooting a stage is way way way to much time.
  5. I feel your pain Tony..... I'm dealing with politics at ACC as well. Not only do I volunteer to do this, I DRIVE 2 FREAKING HOURS 1 WAY to do this..... you would think they would be bending over backwards to help me out.... /rant
  6. From Tony to the mailing list (groups.google.com/group/INMG) 100/100/100 and 5 slugs Also just sent out Due to some last minute match rescheduling at the club, we have to lose a bay (our LR Rifle bay) for our match day. A match that was scheduled for Saturday rescheduled for Sunday. * * This leaves us with 5 stages, and a fully utilized range on match day, so I most likely will not be able to add one. * The 5 stages we have left are good, but the match will be a bit unbalanced, since my overall plan is void. * Given the fact that we will only have 5 stages, I am going to cut off registration at 75, assuming of course that we have a good turnout. That will still put us at 15 person squads, and a long match. I see no other alternative, but I am open to any suggestions. Valid ones are better. Good suggestions I may even use.
  7. Thanks for getting that posted. I've been very busy with EMT school and the ER and EMS hours that are required.
  8. well considering it has less than 200 rounds loaded thru it and is 2 weeks old, ya, thats more work that I want to do on that new of a machine.....
  9. That's half of my problem, I usually lose a bunch of stuff. All in all though not gonna complain though as going from a 450 to a 650 I keep thinking, WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG!
  10. Damn thats alot of work, lol. Oh well, I'll get to it this weekend. Thanks!
  11. The auto prime system, specifically the rotating tray part(cant remember the exact name) that the primers fall into and then when shell plate is indexed they rotate into place, has quit working. I try to manually rotate it but I can not get it to budge. Any suggestions?
  12. UPDATE: Indiana Multigun has updated the rules to reflect upon some things heard or expressed or observed at the first match. They are available on IndianaMultigun.com Here are the updates: 4.3 Rifle ammunition must be of a centerfire caliber traditionally recognized as a "rifle caliber", and have a minimum bullet diameter of 5.45mm. Pistol caliber carbines, 9x19mm or larger are also allowed, but will not be permitted on ranges over 100 yards due to safety concerns. Please also see Rule 5.4. 8.1.12 Unless otherwise stated in a stage briefing, all paper targets are considered soft cover, and all props are considered hard cover. 8.1.13 Unless otherwise stated in a stage briefing, all courses of fire will have a 100 second par time (time limit). When a competitor does not finish a stage within the par time, a raw time of 100 seconds will be recorded, and the targets will be scored as per Rule 8.1.
  13. We don't have any more time before even the May match but the idea of a INMG RO Class has been tossed around
  14. Series Point Standings have been updated on IndianaMultiGun.com Also, we're very pleased to announce that a few more sponsors were added to our list today, and our prize table crested over the $8k mark today.
  15. Sorry for the delays in getting scores up. Our score guy works night shift as a county cop for Carrol Co and has been working the last 4 days.
  16. Scores have come down while we look into the arbitration questions. Should be up this coming week
  17. Anyone know how the whole youtube channel thing works? I want anyone to be able to upload videos from one of our matches to the channel. My youtubefu is not strong
  18. I do nothing with the scores, that's up to someone else. We had about 3 or 4 people not mark a division on their score sheet. We also had several people who wrote their name so sloppily that it took several of us scanning scoresheets and emailing them back and forth to one another to try to decipher. There were also 3 or 4 people who checked a division on their score sheet that was not the division that they registered for the Points Series. Setting up the matches obviously take a lot of time... however, it is all the "behind the scenes" action that is the real time consumer. Remember, we are unpaid volunteers. Since we've been having to correct the errors that people made on their paperwork, these scores have taken 3 individual volunteers HOURS to do. Many of these errors have consequently dominoed into creating other errors in the scoring process which must also be rectified. We will correct this error this time, and this time only. In the future- and this will be gone over during the next shooters meeting, incomplete or illegible, or incorrectly filled out score sheets, will simply be thrown out. It's not fair to the volunteers to have to solve these unnecessary, and easily avoidable problems. Nor is it fair to the other shooters that managed to fill out a simple form correctly, to have their results delayed being posted. Since this was the first match, we are giving a one week "arbitration period". We will not be fixing your scores now, just to have someone else come out to say something similar, and have to do it again. Again, these scores take hours to do. We have lives outside 3-Gun just like everybody else. Thanks for coming out, and I hope to see you out out at the rest of the matches..

  20. Also, if everyone would help tear down the stage you finish on, and just pile things up in 1 area, that would be a great help.
