  1. Sounds great! Now we need to get approval and con the crew into helping build it! I will do my part. Geoff
  2. All Top Gun matches previously announced are currently cancelled due to lack of range support. If I secure any future support from Top Gun, I will post a new match announcement. Thank you for your support, Geoff and the Top Gun Crew
  3. I am sorry to report that our commitment from Top Gun for range time has been pulled. Top Gun is trying some new events and we will not be able to use their ranges at this time. I will post if there is a change to allow us range use. ALL Top Gun matches are currently cancelled. Sorry for any confusion but I was initially told we were good for a minimum of 5 matches, but as of now the support has been pulled. Thank you for your interest, Geoff and the Top Gun crew.
  4. As of right now, we have no commitment for Sundays. We are still looking to fit Sunday dates into their calendar. Geoff
  5. Hello to all, So far I have a commitment from the Top Gun owners to allow me to run matches on the 1st Thursday of the month from November-March. The dates are: 11-6-2014 12-4-2014 January TBD due to New Years, possibly the 8th 02-5-2014 03-5-2014 I usually receive the range about 5pm for setup. We will begin match registration at 5:30pm and hope to be shooting by 6:00pm. You can expect between 80-150 rds depending on turnout which will dictate how many courses we can fit in. The range is at: Top Gun Shooting Sports 22050 Pennsylvania Rd Taylor, MI 48180 Thanks, Geoff Siembor and the TGPS crew
  6. Thanks to all who have attended our matches this year. We look forward to next season. I would like to say Thank You to all the people who help keep these matches running, from websites, match planning, building stages, getting us equipment and props, RO'ing, and supporting this program. Hope to see you all next year. Geoff Siembor (Stats) and the WCRHC crew.
  7. Wow, I never thought to break it down match cost/shot, I should have pushed for 9 stages and 360 rds!!! We appreciate everyone who comes out and supports our efforts, Geoff (Stats) and the WCRHC crew
  8. Hello again, The WCRHC October match (The final match for 2014) is scheduled for our normal 4th Sunday, October 26th. This will be an 8 stage with no classifier, 320rd match. Each stage will be 40 rds! Our setup crew will perform their magic to make this match better than a pure hoser match and the stages look great on paper. I hope to see everyone there, and be sure to bring plenty of ammo and mags. Setup is on Saturday the 25th at 2pm and usually takes between 2.5-3 hours. Registration opens Sunday at 8:30 and ends promptly at 9:45am. We try to be shooting by 10:00am Thanks, Geoff Siembor (Stats) and the WCRHC crew PS, 9mm shooters who want to run full mags be sure to declare Limited Minor at check in.
  9. What are you Burrrrring about, It is supposed to be sunny and 77 degrees!!! At least that is the forecast right now, just wait a minute it may change! Hope to see you there, Geoff
  10. Hello to all, We have concluded our planning meeting for the September match to be held on 09-28-2014 at WCRHC in Romulus MI. We will be hosting 9 stages including 1 classifier. The round count is around 235. After this month, only the October match remains for our club this year. We are in discussions for what we will want to do in October and it may be an interesting final match for the year. Details will be posted here as well as our site - IPSC66.org I hope to see everyone there next weekend. Thanks for your support, Geoff Siembor and the WCRHC Crew
  11. Hello to all. We have held our planning meeting for the August match at WCRHC in Romulus MI. We will be hosting a 9 stage (including 1 classifier) MATCH. The round count will be about 220. We will have water on the range but be prepared for August weather. We may be using the new building on the ranges for registration. If not we will have the sign out in front of the clubhouse for registration. Hope to see everyone there, Geoff and the WCRHC crew
  12. Hello All, The 4th Sunday of July is nearly here and we have completed our pre-match meeting. WCRHC will be running 9 stages including 1 classifier. The round count will be approximately 235. Registration will be in the main clubhouse and opens at 8:30am and will close at 9:30am. The shooters meeting will be at 9:45am and we will try to be shooting by 10:00am. Please be registered by 9:30am so I will have time to prepare the 10 Nooks for electronic scoring prior to 10am. Setup will be on Saturday the 26th of July at 2:00pm and we are usually done within 3 hours. As always the setup crew will receive a discount on match fees and can also get work hours in for their club membership if applicable. You may notice a new range building which was delivered this week but it will not be ready for our use in time for the July match. Hopefully next month! We will have water available on the range in coolers like last month, and the clubhouse should be functional during the match. Remember the 2014 Michigan Sectional in Oak Hill is the second weekend of August and there are still spots available (See address below). http://oakhillgunclubmichigan.com/ Also be sure to check in on our Website for updates and information. http://ipsc66.org/ I hope to see everyone there on the 27th of July, Geoff Siembor (Stats) and the rest of the WCRHC crew
  13. Thank you to all who attended. It looks like we had a better flow through the stages. Scores were posted last night. We did have a few items left behind so if you forgot something let us know and we will check to see if it is here. Planning has already started for our July 27th match and will post details to a new thread when we have everything figured out. Thanks, Geoff Siembor (Stats) and the WCRHC crew.
  14. Hello to all the WCRHC fanatics, This Sunday is the 4th Sunday of the month and it is time for our June Match! We will have 9 stages with 1 classifier and a round count of ~ 248. To those that have contacted me concerning if the match is on the 22nd or 29th, the answer is that we ALWAYS run on the 4th Sunday (5 Sundays this month). Please stay tuned to the Brian Enos Forums, our facebook page, or our website (IPSC66.org). Now that we are back to a normal match we hope to have a better flow with less backups. To help ease this please be registered by 9:30am at the clubhouse. I do not want to have to implement a hard cutoff time and send people away but we are getting many people showing up to register at the last minute and that will affect start time. I hope to see you there! Geoff - Stats and the WCRHC IPSC66 crew.
  15. Appreciate the efforts to shoot both matches! Good luck in Ohio. See you at the range, Geoff (Stats)
  16. Hello to all, We have just concluded our match planning meeting for the Sunday, May 25th Special Classifier Match! We will be running 6 classifiers, a large field course and a special fixed time course for a total of 8 stages and a bit over 150 rds. We will be starting this match at 12:00 Noon. Registration will open at 11:00 am. ALL shooters must register through the main club house even if someone else squaded you. You must come into the clubhouse to pay, sign the waiver, and receive any special match instruction that may be in effect. I know this will be a busy weekend for many of you with the Ohio sectional and the Holiday weekend. Many of our crew will be shooting Ohio on Saturday and returning to WCRHC early Sunday morning to finish setup for this match. I hope to see many of you there! Thank you, The WCRHC crew
  17. Hello to all, The WCRHC crew slaved away for about 3 hours to build 8 great stages including 1 classifier. Looks like final minimum round count will be around 210. The old Trailer has been moved (just barely in time) and you will notice it parked to your left as you make the final turn for parking. Registration will be in our club house and will begin at 8:30 and closing at 9:30am. I will start registering our setup crew around 8:00am. I hope to see many of you there tomorrow! Geoff (Thanks to all who came out for setup, this would not be possible without your help)
  18. Hello to all, I hope you have enjoyed the Holiday weekend! We have held our prematch meeting for the April 27th match and we will have 8 stages with a round count of about 206rds. Anyone interested in helping with match setup, we will be meeting on Saturday at 2:00pm and hope to be completed by 5:00pm. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Geoff and the WCRHC USPSA crew
  19. That has not been decided yet, but we will post info when available. Geoff
  20. Hello everyone! WCRHC USPSA matches will run the 4th Sunday from April-October. Our match fees are $25 for non Members, $20 for WCRHC Members, and $10 for Junior shooters under the age of 18. There will be an additional $5 charge for the May Special Classifier match (does NOT apply to juniors). Normal discounts for those who help with Saturday setup and/or Match RO'ing. Match registration runs from 8:30-9:30am at the club house (NOT the trailer on the range). We will have squad sheets with squad number cards so you can grab a card so you do not forget which squad you signed up for before you get to the Practiscore registration area (Please turn them in to the registration person). You will also have to fill out a release form to shoot the match. This form is supposed to be available on the WCRHC website soon ( http://www.raccoonhunters.org/ ). We will have them at registration also. We had a workday on Saturday and cleaned up the ranges, repaired all the walls/props, replaced 10 large steel poppers, and built ~60 new target stands. The ranges are in decent shape with only 1 patch of ice at the trailer so all should be good for the April 27th match! Our May 25th match will be a special classifier match. We know things will be hectic that weekend with the Ohio Sectional and it being a Holiday weekend. A large portion of our staff will be shooting the Ohio match on Saturday and returning to run the WCRHC match on Sunday - so please keep the excuses to a minimum! Also please book mark and keep an eye on our IPSC66 website ( http://ipsc66.org/ ). We will be updating it more frequently and using it to pass along info. For any of our International shooters, you can get the invitation letter from the MI Section website ( http://uspsamichigansection.org/ ). Look in the Section Documents tab. Finally, Thursdays are our practice days and we plan to start in May. Keep an eye on the IPSC66 website for the date and any possible cancellations. We look forward to seeing you at the matches, Geoff Siembor (Registration and Stats)
  21. Hello to all, I am told we will be back to normal this Sunday 02-23-2014! We will be in the new building. We will receive the small 6 lane range around 5pm and the larger 12 lane range a little after 6pm. Anyone who wants to help with setup please arrive sometime after 5pm. If you will not be helping with setup please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:15pm. I will try to be ready for registrering shooters by 5:30pm. We will try to be setup and shooting by 6:30pm. Hopefully done before 10:00pm. I intend to have 5 stages with 1 classifier (CM 13-08 More Disaster Factor). Thank you, Geoff and the Top Gun Practical Shooters staff
  22. Top Gun 01-26-2014 match Hello to all, I have just received the info from the Top Gun range. We will only have 1 set of range available and will be in the new building. I am re-working my stages to thin them up a bit and I hope to be able to fit 4 simple stages. Round count will be under 70 rds. I will be having the classifier CM 13-01 (It is thin and works for this match). The problem I forsee is depending on how many competitors show up, this could be a late match with a lot of waiting between stages (more than usual). If you are planning to come frrm a long ways away please keep this in mind. I will not be allowing shoot-throughs to get get people out early and I will not be able to allow more than 1 chance at the classifier (no 2nd firearm or paid 2nd chance). I must do this to keep the time reasonable. The range will be charging $20 or $15 for Top Gun Annual Members. I understand if you make the decision to skip this match as the match is smaller than usual and the waits and end time could be very long/late. If you decide to come we will be registering around 5pm and hopefully setting up and ready to shoot shortly after 6pm. Registration will be closed at 6:00pm for this match. If you are going to be late please try to let someone know and I will do my best to get you in. I am told that our next Thursday match (02-07-2014) may be at the new building or the old. I will post if/when I receive confirmation. The February 23rd Sunday match should be a normal 2 bay/5 stage match at the new building. Sorry for any inconvenience, Geoff and the Top Gun Practical Shooters crew.
  23. Top Gun 01-26-2014 Match: I am told we will be at the new building. I do not have the address but it is directly across the street. You will enter from Pennsylvania not Racho rd. It is located on the North West corner of Racho and Pennsylvania intersection. The range is heated but a sweater or sweatshirt may be appreciated. It appears to be better lit than the old facility (maybe because it is new and we have to destroyed the light fixtures with steel ricochets!) They currently have 1 set of 12 bays open and hope to have a second set open by Sunday. If not then we may have a HUGE backup depending on how many people show up. I will check with them Friday/Saturday to check on the 2nd area for us. If it is not ready we will have some logistical problems and delays depending on the number of shooters we have. We had 26 shooters on Thursday with terrible weather and road conditions. Sunday could be a large turnout. I will post an update Friday or Saturday so everyone will know. Also the benches and coat hooks were not up as of last Saturday so you may be working off the floor. Thanks, Geoff and the T.G.P.S. staff.
