Is it possible to buy a sidwinder that fits on the Gold custom without any modification? where can I buy the sidewinder?

What is the difference and benefits between the SVI Tri-Glide and not Tri-Glide? What is to prefer on a competition IPSC gun? If I use SVI Tri-Glide base, do I then need to use Tri-Glide disconnector and Tri-Glide sear spring, or can I use it in combination with STI disconnector or sear spring etc? I will install the BCG trigger group on my gun (see link under), is this group compatible with the SVI Tri-Glide trigger system? The BCG trigger group comes with a sear spring, can I use this sear spring instead of the Tri-Glide sear spring and still have the benefit of the Tri-glide? Can the SVI Tri-Glide system be used together with the BCG Pro series trigger group? Should then the Sear spring from the BCG kit or SVI kit be used? Will it work with all the parts from BCG kit, and use the SVI tri-glide trigger and SVI tri-glide disconnector?

I was also looking at the Brazos kit that many people talking about here. I have already bought Infinity XQB1 hammer, will this hammer work as great as the hammer in the Brazos kit with the same set up? I was thinking about maybe buy all the parts in the set separate and keep the SVI hammer. I could see the Brazos kit had tuned parts inside, the tuning done on these parts is that a job a good gunsmith normally can do as good as the kit? I could buy the complete kit, but then I have wasted 80$ on a hammer I will not use. Any experience or thoughts?

I can see many people recommend the Ed Brown Wide Ambi safety, do this fit on the STI 2011? I could see on Ed Browns web page it stand designed for 1911 frames, will it then fit on the 2011 frames? Im not sure if it's any difference when it comes to safety’s on 1911 and 2011 models? How wide is Ed Browns Wide Ambi safety, is it IPSC box legal? The max height in the box is 45mm.

I have been searching around on internet for STI/SV 2011 Super tuned IPSC Box legal magazines cal 40S&W, but I can only see the 140mm magazines. Do you know where I can find this 120/126mm tuned magazines? It's probably more people here with the same problem.

Hi, I have some small questions. Will the STI 1911 mag release fit on the STI 2011? I send the question to Wilson Combat if their STI 1911 extended mag release would fit on the STI 2011, and they answer me, yes it will fit. Is this correct? I can see many different places they refers to 1911 mag release and 2011 mag release. I hope someone with experience can answer me. I wants to have a extended mag release on my STI 2011,where can i buy this? Thanks

What parts should I changes to improve the Apeiro? I can see in the post over they talking about changes to Dawson tool-less guide rod, 12# spring with buffer and 18# main spring, will it be better to shoot with if you changes this parts? Is it other parts or set up I should take a closer look at? I know lot of STI/SVI parts are compatible. Do you know if this SVI trigger base, and SV Infinity XQB hammer will fit on the Apeiro without any modificatios. Do all the Apeiros have the schuman AET with rifling all the way into the chamber? What is the cons with that, and what improvment do you get with the Aftec extractor system? Did you get longer lifspan of the brass with the Aftec extractor system? Thanks
