I have shot 1000's of 135's and 1000's of 147's Bayous and never had any feeding issues before unitl this Stock III. If after breaking it in I am still having issues I may get a batch of 135's which are RN and see if for some reason my III likes them better. I hope not as I just like the feel of the 147's even though it is minimal from the 135's plus I got A LOT already loaded:-)
Gump,
What's the oal you are using on the 135's?
We just tested some Stock III's , the same batch you got... No problems whatever bullets we feed...147, 135, 124, 115..

The small frames are the rarest... Both Stock 2 & Stock 3...Even Graufell was shocked when i told him small frame, let alone twins... =)

I'm just wondering if I should get a stock III now or hold my breath for a stock II.
Buy what you can get .... Either a Lim Pro, Stock 3 or Stock 2....Hope that helps your dilemma...

All Alpha's are 5 points ..... Stock 3 is fast shooting. Lim Pro is Quicker. Stock II is the fastest... Pick your poison =)

in my opinion, if you dont intend to shoot nationals.. then by all means go with minor. but if you are, go with major....the reason being is that national level matches have a well balanced array. if its just a level 1 or level 2 i always see the advantage of using a minor 10 round.

I find small pistol magnums are a little bit hotter than small rifle...very minimal..

When I ordered (yrs. ago) 4 8 lb. jugs from Powder Valley, I requested they all be the same lot #.
I must've ordered the same time as you... I'm in my last 8-lb jug... =(

slow burning means more grains to your load. plus the recoil impulse is different.
