  1. I'm will have to borrow my wife digital camera. Of course, she pay for it. I don't drop my guns like you guys. Especially the loaded one. I will post some picture soon. Thanks for your interest.
  2. Try disassemble the machine and clean every part. And try again. May be the left over powder cause the feeding problem
  3. Left is the looking at the gun as I'm firing it. I have dug up old broken slide. It break like this. The first is Colt Factory - Break from the right side on the ejection port to the slide rail. I think this one has a little lower ejection port. And this one has Nitride finish (Which my friend told me that the nitride finish will make slide easier to break)] The Second one was Mccormic it broke like the first one but crack down to the front of the slide. The third and the forth one was STI and LES BAER they are broken the same way the left side of the slide. These two which I think that the hood problem cause the broken. Thanks you all for information.
  4. Bseever.. The area are left side of the ejection port. I'm notice that my gunsmith keep the barrel hood to wide. May be it is the hood that too wide that hitted the slide every time the slide close. Now I have the hood file off. And I have to wait another couple of years to find out if my suspicion right. I shoot 38Super in major with 120 grain lead bullet.
  5. Any one have and idea what's the factor of broken slide?
  6. There are discussion about barrel life. How many round shoot through one barrel. How about slide? I Shoot for 8 years broke 4 slide already Colt, Mccormic, Les Baer, STI you name it. I have broke it all. I shoot may be 80000-100000 round already. Average is 20000-25000 per one slide. How about you gus?
  7. And Yes, I use the STI-oko mount. If you want lower than the STI you can use OKO-mount. I did'nt use it because it's not single side mount. And I don't want to drill another holes on my guns.
  8. Allchin or other with the adapter plate will make it higher. May be as high as Cmore. The STI Oko mount will make it lower.
  9. I have clearer vision on OKO. And the battery are easy to find. I use STI mount with the OKO. I have notice that switching between aimpoint and oko are easier compare to aimpoint and cmore
  10. I use OKO on both of my blasters. I had use Aimpoin XD before and the OKO are the same line of sight as Aimpoint. I didn't have to change grip when I change from Aimpoint to OKO. The batteries are easy to find and cheap. The dot are very bright compare to C-MORE, even in the very bright sunlight. Shooting with the OKO for six months no problem at all.
  11. Hey BrianH!! Check The brass nut again I think it become lose again. This time put the "BLUE LOCTITE" on And you will never have this problem again (I Hope)
  12. I have fix 5-6 Aimpoint Comp XD for my friend last year. Here is how I fix mind. I remove the black switch knob of the scope. And the I will found the brass ring nut inside. I remove the brass ring nut out and add the loctite(Blue) and put the brass ring nut back on again and tighten it. That's all!!! The lose brass nut will cause the dot disappearing. Hope this help
