    I like that analogy.

    S&W 22

Thanks Gregg. Is that the one you showed me at the range last Sat? That was a nice gun, especially with the loaders you had.

    S&W 22

Is there a S&W in 22 that has a trigger pull close to the 625? I want to have a plinker that will also give me some trigger control practice. Thanks
  4. Thanks for the good advice. I am sure looking forward to my Carmonized 625.
  5. I am getting a 625 soon and wondered if there are some good drills to help me get used to the DA trigger? Should I do a lot of dry fire with snap caps? All suggestions appreciated.
  6. Just ordered me one. I am going to use it with my 625. This will be my first rig.
  7. Thanks for the replies. Do you have a brand name for the Kydex holsters?
  8. Sorry for the new shooter question. I am getting a 625 and did not see a 5 inch holster listed on the Safariland site. It seems likely that the 6 inch holster would be OK, but I wanted to ask.
  9. Daniel, I am located in Daphne, Al. across the bay from Mobile. Thanks for the information. Jaxshooter, that is exactedly what I have done. I was given that same advice by Gregg from the Mobile club and I have found a 625 to buy. The fellow selling me the gun is sending it to Carmoney and he is going to do his magic before sending it to me.
  10. Thanks for the replies. I will have to remember UCLA. I had not heard that one. Gregg from the Mobile Pistol Shooters has been very helpful in quest for information in the revolver world. He showed me his gear and got me in contact with some folks who have me headed in the right direction.
  11. Hello. First post here I am located in south Alabama and am getting going in pistol shooting. I really like revolvers and plan to shoot in that category. My competition experience is very limited (a few bowling pin matches and GSSF) but I hope to change that soon. I am also planning to start reloading so any helpful hints in that area would also be appreciated. I have had some good advice from a couple of folks already. It sure seems that folks in this sport are happy to help new shooters. Good folks. Thanks ahead for any tips headed my way. Mike
