  1. Ooooh Pleeeease! Like doubling your toy budget is a bad thing! :roflol: Send her to ladies camp and you'll both have a hobby to love!

+1 for sending her to a ladies camp... I attended my 1st one in Phoenix in October and have reserved my slot for the Louisiana camp for April. I'm enjoying shooting lots more now after having some instruction from other females in the sport!

  2. Welcome! I'm still a newbie myself... got into the sport just a few months ago to 'appease' my hubby so we could shoot together. However, 1 ladies camp and 7 local matches later, I'm HOOKED! Not to mention all the time I now spend on Enos instead of working... ;) Hope your experience is as great as mine is. Here's to a long and exciting shooting journey!

  3. Congratulations to the newlyweds! I know this has been a really tough week for your whole family, but what a wonderfully joyous occasion to celebrate. And how proud your mom must be of you guys and the newest family member! Congrats and hang in there. You continue to be in our prayers... the Keigans family.

  4. Allan, Ronnie, and Crew put on another awesome match today. Those of you that missed it REALLY missed out!

Thanks guys for all your hard work!

I'll second those words... this is my favorite match to shoot. GREAT stages with a fantastic combination of fun and skill-testing at every turn! Thanks EAGC, we can't wait for December!

  5. Congratulations to you and your family... welcome home Reid! The Keigans family sends our prayers that your son continues to improve daily. I know Christmas will be extra special this year with that special gift at home.

  6. ok Susan told me about this thread so I'm sitting in a deer stand in West Kentucky reading it. I have decided to come home tonight when I get out of the woods, I can't miss this one! I hope there is room for us on the squad, we can put the new video camera to good use and share the videos on YouTube for everyone to enjoy.

    See you all Sunday.

BTW, I am bringing 2 REALLY NICE cigars for the winning team!

    You have a Production rig???

45dv8, I'll answer for him since he's on the road from Kentucky: we'll be shooting Open (me) and Limited (him), but we would love to be on the squad with the Swiss Cake Roll competition to get good film coverage. No production rig yet, but after this competition... ;)

  7. Oh lordy, this one has gotten deep... I might need to buy some stock in Little Debbie before it's all over. I'm so glad me and the hubby will be there to see the action this weekend! And, with all you folks out of the way, I might just stand a chance to do a decent job in Open class for once!!! (probably not, but a gal can dream!) ;)

  8. Wow.... I feel a little like I vaguely remember feeling that 1st day of school when the teacher makes you stand in front of the entire class and introduce yourself. But anyway, here it goes!

My name is Susan and I'm from the large metropolis (insert sarcasm) of Camilla, GA- town of 5,000, located in southwest GA! I was introduced to this sport by my hubby about a year ago and starting shooting Open about 6 months ago - I LOVE it!

I just returned from my first Babes with Bullets camp in Phoenix, AZ and have already booked my slot for the April '09 camp in Louisiana... I think I might be hooked!

I'm here to gain a better knowledge of the sport, learn from other females, and hopefully make some new friends along the way. Thanks!
