If I remember correctly Jesse made Master by finishing above 85% at a major match, which was the Georia state match a few years ago where they had a number of top GMs competing. From the currect rule book. Your performance in larger matches and tournaments may also be used to help establish classification. Placement in a major event with a score above your assigned class percentage may result in your being promoted to a higher class, even if your current average is lower. Winning first or second in class at an Area Championship or Major Tournament AND shooting into the next higher class may result in promotion (except to Grand Master); winning High Overall in an Area Championship may promote you to Grand Master class. In addition, if you score 95% or higher at a USPSA national championship, you will be immediately moved to Grand Master class for that division.

Didn't you say the wife was pregnant? WOW! Did the Doc say it is OK for her to shoot? I've always heard that shooting was not reccomended for pregnant women. Hope it works out for you.

Sounds like everyone had a good time. When will the scores be posted?? I've never shot this match but I have considered it many times. If it takes this long to get the scores posted then I guess this is a match that I will stay away from.

Jessie is an incredible shooter and is a very good addition to our sport in many ways. I would also include Rebecca and Megan. I predict they will continue to progress and reach higher levels of classification without a doubt! You go girls!! However, I have to respectfully disagree with her being the first to hit GM. She is sitting at 78.79% in limited and 65.9% in L-10. That's quite a way from 95%. In Open Kay 90.50% Lisa 87.93% Athena 86.11% The facts are these ladies are closer to the mark and most likely have the best shot at hitting GM first. At Nationals this year, those 3 women failed to make the top 3 overall ladies in either division. Athena doesn't shoot Limited but Kay and Lisa finished out of the top 3 in both matches.
