legal for IPSC box?
these work great with the dawson magwell... theres almost 1" gap between the base pad and the magwell... Im using TTI's competition follower and 11coil combo. I get 21rds not reloadable and 20rds reloadable with this combo.Do these work with the Dawson ICE magwell? Also, what spring/followers are you using in STI mags?

Hey Guys been thinking real hard about moving up to open class. And if I do a really want to go 9mm so I can lose my brass without going broke or crazy!!. I know there are trade offs performance wise..I have been told it should be a 5 inch gun to get performance without over pressure with that round. Any info on those issues would be useful. If price is not an object who should I be looking at to do the build? Does anyone specialize in 9mm open guns? Recommendations please Thank You
You have more choices in powder with a 38s/c. Otherwise, if they are built right, there is really no reason they aren't just as reliable as 38s.
If I had an unlimited budget and was in no hurry, I would have Bob at Brazos build me one. I have seen a lot of Open guns and his are some of the smoothest tightest guns I have ever seen. There are several other builders out there that are very good too, but if I was to get a free ride, Bob would be my choice.

Yes quinn slide racker,I tested today how works.
I mean this the best slide racker on the market much better than sidewinder (I have both,and few others model).

The Quinn II Horizontal C-more/STI mount places your C-More Slide Ride scope at 90 degrees compared to traditional mounts, drastically lowering the height of the dot to the bore and completely removing any obstruction of the ejection port. Due to the lower dot the shooter is no longer forced to compensate their aiming point on very close or long distance targets as they are with traditional scope mounts.
By eliminating obstructions to ejected brass your gun will be more reliable, there is nothing for the brass to hit and jam the gun. Standard gun reliability and Standard gun simplicity of aiming near and far.I use now every magazine on the market without any problem (STI,SVI or SPS)
You see on the pic my gun have scope mount including thumb rest,I read few post to some shooter have a problem with thumb rest and I tell you isnt true!!!
QUINN 2 is the best mount on the market, respect to all but QUINN on the first place!!!!

I need a help how to instal Brazos THUMB GUARD KREB'S STYLE.
I order from Brazos store Ejector, BCG - Pro Series Performance Tuned,Mag Release Button, BCG - Cyclone and Brazos THUMB GUARD KREB'S STYLE.
I install Ejector and mag button but have a problem with THUMB GUARD instalation.
I have on my gun Brown Extended Ambi-Safety

Material is very soft,after few time you must to do tuning.
Many malufunctions with gun when you have SPS inside,I friendly recomended dont bye.
When you want to tune STI or SVI you must to have hummer becouse material is so hard,for SPS you dont need hummer only caliper and finger

Where in Ga will you be visiting? if its Atlanta maybe you can shoot at our club.
Will be way more south. Hazlehurst. Still have to find a club.
Will stay a few months probably so still organizing everything. I wanna prepare for a big match in Europe in the summer and I think it will be easier/better for me to train in USA.

I have entered the dark side, cookies or not, I expected more problems than I have had up until now.
Since this is a small frame Tanfoglio 9mm Para. I shot the gun using just factory ammo for a while. I just wanted to take it easy and hoped that potential problems would show up. In a way it did. Lately I have started to develop a load for it using VV N105. (7,8gr for a PF of 160+). Before I tied out this load, I changed the recoil spring for a heavier one, 10 pounds. Before it had an 8 pounds spring installed.
What has been a problem all the way is that the gun ejects the cases up and in to the mount. This was a problem both with the factory loads and with the hotter reloads mentioned. With the factory loads I had one failure to eject in 100 rounds because the case got stuck between the mount and the slide. With the reloads this got a lot worse, like one in every mag. I then removed a little material form the mound and I am now back to one in 100. I have also experienced some other strange ejection problems but my guess is that the case goes in to the mount and back in to the ejection port because the extractor will hold an empty case like it could, but I might be wrong on this.
The marks under the mount clearly show that the problem is still there. The gun needs some ejection tuning and I hoped you could help me out.
(The gun has a alu. C-more on an Alex mount)
You have extractor problem not ejector!!!
You must to remove small material from extractor(small pin on left side extractor) and you solve the problem!!
Dont remove to much material becouse you must bye new extractor in that case!!!
