The local Wal Mart's selling gas below the two dollar mark (if you use their nifty gift card). Can't remember the last time I paid less than $2 for gas - seems like it's been forever.
With my Walmart card, I paid $1.96 today.

Hello to everyone! I'm not only new to the forums but new to the sport. I recently attended the Georgia State Championships (as a spectator) and was so impressed with the folks and the fun that I can't wait to get involved. In fact, my son and I both are getting into the game. I was just looking for opinions/suggestions on entry level guns. What do you think of the Spartan? Keep in mind that I'll be paying for two.

A.T. - The shooter must be aware of the target and what is beyond.
Target is 10 yrds away and bullet travels 50yrds total you get credit for all damage.

A.T. if you make me sit there and wait on you while you fish out your barney bullet out of your change pocket in your blue jeans I'm going to give you a FTHU (Failure To Hurry Up) the next time your on my squad!!!!
I think from what Steve posted on HQ's behalf is that they said you can only USE 3 mags, 1 in the gun and 2 on the belt for the COF. As long as you don't fish out your barney mag to complete the stage your fine.
On that note where are we at if a barney mag drops out?

So, as long as I have a spare 'Barney' magazine to use and not make you wait for me to find a spare bullet in my pocket, I'm ok?
Also, I can't find the ruling on the FTHU
in the rule book. As slow as I am, I'd be having them on each stage.A.T.

Is it legal in IDPA to place a non-threat target behind a threat target?

Try a specialized prescription.
I wear bifocals, but my shooting glasses are single vision, focused on only my front site. The targets are a little fuzzy, but that's ok.

If I rest my non shooting hand on the barricade, I usually get splinters. So I stopped.

With multiuple targets and you are flanked the split second it would take to get out of that postion could cost you your life. Am I missing something?
If you have arthritic knees, getting back up is more that a "split second".

That does get their attention. I could not get a book club to stop sending me books. So the last one they sent, I swept up my shop floor (I'm a knifemaker) and filled up the box with scrap steel and grinding dust. That took care of it.
