  1. If you don't use TSA locks, won't they cut your locks off? I thought that is why we use them?

If your bag/suitcase has a gun inside, then the tsa has already inspected and approved the contents. There should be NO reason for them to view the contents again.

  2. I have a Dillon RL1050. The original style. I bought a totally worn out RL1050 in 38 special. The 1050 is considered a commercial press and does NOT have the lifetime NO B.S. policy. They took my 38sp 1050 that was totally worn out. In about 2 weeks I picked up a completely new RL1050. My cost? $0.00

I then had my original 1050 rebuilt. Again a completely new RL1050. Again my cost, $0.00. No guarantee, no charge, NO B.S. Just how Dillon does business. I will always buy Dillon Blue!!

    Dillon is Absolutely AMAZING!

    P.S. I don't reload,....yet! When I do, it will be a Dillon 650.

  3. Ordered a 1050 from brian on a tuesday or wednesday and it arrived on the porch saturday morning of the same week. Never even thought about checking an order status in those 4 days.

What! :D You had to wait FOUR days! As I've mentioned before, the Dillion and S&W service is the best. I wish all companies operate this way.

  4. Here is a link to an excellent talk on why flying with firearms can insulate you from the excesses of the TSA.

This is absolutely FANTASTIC information. Not only do I make and sell my knives, I also sell other makers and collectors knives. When I fly to a knife show, I'll check $35,000 or more of custom knives in my luggage. I've been very lucky so far, but some makers have lost several knives. And then another big plus, when I arrive I can carry. Well in most states.

    Thanks,

    A.T.

  5. I had someone from the TSA refuse to accept my Retired Military ID card as ID because "it didn't have an expiration date on it and they have to have one so the TSA can be sure they haven't expired."

How many different ways can you say "MORON"?

Please don't forget, they are protecting us. Don't you feel safer? :roflol:

  7. Corey, this is NOT directed to you.

Ok, a little off topic. My wife paid her way through college as a waitress (not at Hooters), so she always makes sure I leave at least a 20% tip. That's ok with me.

But my daddy told me, "even if the service was horrible" leave a tip. He told me to stand up and drop two pennies on my plate. That way, the waitress didn't just think I was a clod, but hopefully she/he knew what I thought of the service.

  8. Alright, went to the IDPA match in Wilmore today. Cold, windy, and rained pretty much the whole time.

Cold? Wet? That doesn't start to describe it. I thought my fingers were going to fall off. :roflol: I also was sure that I was going to drop my pistol. I didn't, but I don't know why. This was my first time to shoot under these conditions. I'll be better prepared next time.

I still had fun, and came home safe.

    Life is Good,

  9. I used final Cut, a video/audio editing program to create a series of Par Time beeps at various intervals. I then turned them into MP3s and downloaded them to my ipod. it works great. If anyone wants some MP3 par times let me know and I can email them to you.

    PM sent.

    Many thanks  ,

    A.T.
