No dillon distributor except Brian seems to be allowed any leeway in pricing. No one can make you a better deal than Brian
A friend of mine got me my last 550 for $349.
This fellow sells the 550 for $20 less than BE.
Paying an additional $20.00 for peace of mind, is a no brainer.

Back in '08 (couldn't find ammo), I called Brian and ordered a 650 with a case feeder. Brian said "Let's talk". So after that he said all I needed was a 550. He talked me down! Brian was right, I didn't need a 650. During the season, I might shoot 1200 a month.
Brian is a fair man, this forum is free for us. It's NOT free for Brian.
When I bought my 2nd 550, Dillon Precision didn't even cross my mind. I called Brian. I purchased it for .45 ammo only.

Right now people, it looks like Saturday will have great weather, with a high in the middle '60's. So IF there is enough interest and IF the weather stay the same, we will have TWO Relays. You can shoot the same gun or a different gun.
This could be the last, 'Really Nice' day we have, some come take advantage of it!
The Blue Grass Sportsmen’s League http://www.bgslinc.com/index.php is having their monthly Steel Showdown match at BGSL, Wilmore, KY THIS Saturday.
Steel Showdown is an action pistol match that requires the competitor to hit 5 Static steel targets. Most stages specify a specific steel target to be shot last (Stop Plate) This format is friendly to all skill levels and is a great event to introduce new shooters to an action pistol event.
Set up 8:30, Registration Starts 9:00, New Shooter Check out 9:30, Match starts at 10:00.
ALL of our stages have shade and a seating area.
**** New Shooters - (i.e. Any Shooter who has not had a new shooter check out at a BGSL Pistol Event) must attend a new shooters check out or they will not be able to shoot.****
Cost: $20.00, BGSL members $15.00, (Juniors - $5.00 discount with paying parent) ****Junior 16 or younger.****
Equipment: Any safe centerfire pistol / revolver .355 (9mm) or above or Rim-Fire (.22 ) pistol, RIFLE, or revolver. We recommend a minimum of 3 magazines – 5 being MUCH better for magazine holding 10 rds. or less. Holsters must be strong side and cover the trigger when the pistol is holstered **Rim-Fire pistols may start at a low ready but must be bagged at the completion of each stage. Eye and hearing protection is required for shooters AND spectators. Ammo – a typical match is 125 rds. – with NO misses – ALWAYS BRING EXTRA.
We ALWAYS welcome new shooters and spectators.

The CDP dvision was designed around the 1911, but CDP is open to any semi-auto .45 ACP that fits in the box and weighs no more than 41 oz., and meets the allowed/ prohibited modifications criteria in the rulebook.
My bad!
-
CDP, is 1911 only.
-
-
No wonder I always shoot alone that day!!
-
In and can RO if needed.
I don't know how many RO's have contacted the MD. When you register, just let them know,
-
Fss and trigger takes you out of production.
Be so kind and quote the rule.
-
Most competitive in Production.

Right now the weather for Sunday looks dry, but ya never know. The road to BGSL does not get plowed, and of course neither does the road on the range. If there is a cancellation, you should hear something (vie email) from the MD by 6:30 AM. So check your email, before you head this way.
This Sunday, The Blue Grass Sportsmen’s League http://www.bgslinc.com/index.php is having their monthly USPSA Match.
I don't have a round count yet as the crew is still working on the stages but expect six stages, a round count of 120 - 150.
BRING EXTRA AMMO! BGSL has sold out of 9 mm, but have an ample supple of .40 and .45.
Match registration will be open from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the shelter in the pistol pits.
New shooter registration will be open from 8:45 AM until 9:30 AM.
Set up begins at 8:00 AM, we can't setup on Saturday so we need all hands on deck as soon as possible to keep providing great matches for you guys. Remember it's a volunteer sport and we all help!
We go hot at 10:30 AM.
New shooters (to BGSL) must arrive no later than 9:00 AM for the new shooter check.
Match fee is $20.00. BGSL members shoot for $15.00. Junior shooters (17 and under) shoot for $10.00 with a paid adult.
As always, we welcome new shooters and spectators. Bring ear and eye protection.

-
Mail has already ran today, I'll mail it Saturday.
-
I'd want all of mine the same. I shoot Glocks and 1911's, it's real easy in a match to forget to release the safety.
-
Test the remaining bullets you have for setback issues by pushing them against a table with your thumb. I'm wondering if you were reloading "glocked brass" and ended up with a ton of setback causing a pressure spike.
I don't understand. If he's shooting 'glocked brass' in a Glock, why would that be a problem? Also, I thought the problem is mainly with .40.
-
In my Sentry, 230 RN @ 750 fps gives me 172 PF, and with 200 SWC BB @ 865 fps gives me 173 pf. IMO, that's a safe cushion and is not hard on my arthritic hands.
-
I got tried of waiting, and sold my .40 Pro. I purchased a 35, I liked it so well, I sold my 9 mm Pro and purchased a 34. Both shoot where I point them. I like the fact, I can add sights and trigger, without using a gunsmith. $$$
-
I like the 5" Pros, had two of them, a 9mm and the .40. When I found out I couldn't shoot the .40 in Production, I sold both. I can't understand why the 5" Pro is still not on the 'Approved Production gun list'.
-
Up until Sandy Hook, http://www.natchezss.com/index.cfm had Glock mags for $19.99. Now there sold out. They should re stock before 'our' Congress makes them illegal. Like I said, didn't people see this coming?
-
People, there still legal. You can damn bet, the suppliers will restock. Just relax. Didn't you see the results of the election?
