  1. does anyone know how to remove the extractor from an M&P 9mm? I am sure it is obvious but I can't figure it out. Did a search with no results.
  2. here is my new, (new to me) 6" fat free. I added the scott grip, swenson safety and trigger.
  3. I was concerned about the same thing when I was planning to start re-loading but opted for the SDB anyway. I think it all depends on the luck of the draw if your SDB dies will size down "belly brass" enough. I went ahead and bought a Lee single stage press (20.00) and the EGW undersize die (22.00) just in case but my SDB dies (.40 & 9mm) size all brass down enough to work in any gun whether I shoot my .40 STI or 9mm S&W, I guess I got lucky. I was told if your SDB dies don't do what you need send them back and they will be happy to replace them. good luck
  4. I think it is a crap shoot right out of the box on his mag's for reliability. I was told they needed to be "tuned" for 100% reliability. I spent a few extra bucks and bought one "tuned" from Derek at Millennium Customs and it is perfect. the base is a different than from Docter but that is not an issue. I picked it up at the Florida State Match so he was able to test the ones he had against my gun to make sure everything worked perfectly. Even if I had to order one I feel comfortable that it would work fine. I was able to get 21 with a little wiggle room left, I think after the spring breaks in I could get 22, even Derek thinks so. I tried it with ammo with lengths from 1.175 to 1.200 and they all ran perfectly.
  5. here are a few pictures of squad 12 and some random shooters. great match had by all!
  6. I have 2 M&P 9mm's and swapped the uppers, I have not test fired them yet but the frame to slide fit has a slight bind.
