  1. I always start with two mags in the cheap steel side by side mag holder ($5.95 from DPMS), and a third mag on my belt(BLADE-TECH) unless course description prevents me.The SAMCO mag coupler, and the MAG CINCH also would be good.Every month i am surprised how non observant people are to the fact that we are so much faster with reloads most of the time as compared to people pulling their second mag if required ,from their belt, chest web gear, pockets, redi-mag, or leg holster. This might not be important so much at most 3 gun match ,i'll let you decide, but at our little run & gun with assault rifles only match every month, we frequently are required to do mandatory static reloads or on the run,and those that start with two are faster than you.Only one opinion.

  2. Okay,i went back and found a pacman post saying for 2004 MM3g barrel max 22",mag tube 23",and goes on to say as it reads i could have a 18.5" barrel with my 8" mag tube as long as i dont break the 23" rule, but i still dont know who governs this rule.Is it USPSA, and or does it include matches like MGM 3un,RM3g,or WC3gun ?

  3. !'m reading the rules on MGM's sight and it says barrel length max which is no problem ,but it also makes reference to mag tube not being able to me more than 1 inch past barrel.I'm 1.75 longer than my 18.5# barrel with extended briley choke, but still under 22 inch.It also says delete in the paragraph so i'm confused if i'm leagal or not.I thought as long as everything is not longer than 22 inch i would be okay?

  4. Shot two tactical matches with it after getting it back ,but couldnt really tell untill today at our annual shot gun only 5 stage run & gun match. Not alot of rounds,100 plus shot and 15 slugs, but it impressed me while firing BANG! BANG! BANG! it not only felt like a highly tuned piece of machinery but it sounded like it to, as all the internals were functioning, weird i thought.I'm sold. The money spent for it is well worth it.

  5. What i did was try a SVI 40 heavy long dust cover, since that was all the rage when it first came out and for me it just never felt right always to heavy up front as compared to my reg dust cover STI 45 i had been using.Frustrated, i finally sent it to benny hill which promptly cut the dust cover back and scalluped the slide and although it only took very little weight off ,so far seems to point better like my STI feels with the weight more feeling at the center of the gun closer to my hand than all up front at the end as it did before.I will know more at my next tactical match this sunday, if its my imagination or not.The good news is ,if it still needs more i will still have other options yet , like fluting or turning down my bull barrel and or lightning the slide.

  6. I apoligize ,i know i saw it somewhere but cant find it now naturally.I over reactive for that i'm sorry. It startled me and i beleived what i read ,but you guys have straightened me out. They are indeed still listed on rem website and Natchez Shooting Supplies still sells them although currently out.Thanks.

  7. Sorry dont have camera. If this helps. Its painted like the AR on his website. He did his magic to get rid of bennelli thumb.I can now load extra round in carrier.Made stock 1.5" shorter with thick and soft as hell pad.It now has a narrow pad or strip of metal starting at the front of receiver crossing over top of bolt release which so far i think i like better than the big head button i have on my practical 1, i was using. He put on 8 round mag tube which is 1-5/8 longer than my 18-1/2 barrel with extended clays briley choke in.Lightened the bolt carrier, and replaced all springs to work with lighter loads, and thats what really impressed me after shooting it at last weeks match for the first time.I was thrilled with how much less recoil using 3dr 1-1/8 load (wallmart economy pack) is compared to what i was using with my other benelli to be reliable.Replaced front sight with hiviz.I'm glad i did that also.I think thats everything.

  8. In this case i dont blame anyone but my self.I just assumed people could see into my mind on what i invisioned. As far as gunsmiths go i have used enough of them over the years to know that Bennie Hill is definilty a credit to his profession,so dont worry guys i may be ignorant but not stupid.

  9. I did not specifically specify what new back rifle sight i wanted in lue of the standard bennelli rifle sight already there ,except to say i wanted it taller so i can get target picture faster, since i didnt know what brand or model would get me there i left it up to the gunsmith.what i got was a home made contraption thats not even ajustable unless you count files and a nail punch as being ajustable.I dont even have the original dove cut on the barrel so putiing the old sight back is out of the question ,which i didnt get back anyway.I am just not happy with this. Clearly this is all my fault.I know it ,so there is no need to defend anyone.I didnt think for a micro second i wouldnt be getting a fully ajustable back rifle sight like the hi vis type i mentioned i saw in brownells, which sits up taller so as not to have to bury your cheek as much on the stock to get level with the sight. Atleast for me since i am use to ghost rings. To make a long story short, i need another 18 1/2 inch barrel with rifle sights. I will live with factory after this debacle. I need to get rid of this one and a 26 inch practical barrel i dont need to fund this .Who might be able to help me with a new barrel with rifle sights? Thanks for any help

  10. Just got bennelli back no time to get to range before next match.New sights on gun are on at 50yds i'm told.Question will the trajectory be a little lower closer in like my AR's sighted at 50yds or are slugs flat out to 50?

  11. I tried the 7 shell with 2 pac 3 gun gear stuff, but shells kept falling out of my hard kicking benelli ,so i replaced it with a 6 shell plastic side saddle and now that is also dropping way to many rounds on the ground.for gun to work i have to use 3 3/4 dr loads.Could this be the problem? When i get my new bennelli thats being built ,it is supposed to work with 3 dr loads, i can only hope problem goes away.I knew the web stuff wore out,but not the plastic side saddles.
