  1. I just bought a CZ TS in .40. Can anyone give me a starting point for OAL? I am going to be loading Precision 185 RNF bullets with Ramshot Competition powder. Thanks in advance.
  2. http://www.eaacorp.com/handguns-witness-elite-stock-TP.html I did find them on the Tangfolio site... http://www.tanfoglio.it/tanfoglio.php?lingua=uk I could only find the Stock, maybe these are different models. It looks very similar features to the SP01, except it has an adjustable rear sight, weighs a lot less and has nice checkering. Any other differences?
  3. I run: Competition rear sight, FO front sight 11# recoil and 13# mainspring Competition hammer made a big difference, just polish it and fit in Grip tape on front strap and back strap Polish every moving part I also added the CZ 85 Combat trigger with the overtravel stop. I wish I could shoot half as well as the gun is capable of.
  4. 4.1 Ramshot Sil with 145-147 Masterblaster made Minor for me. I don't remember any noticiable difference in recoil or smoke Vs. the VV N320. Both were very nice but slightly smokey.
  5. SA Friday, what was your load with Ramshot Competition if I may ask? Did you get a chance to chrono it?
  6. eerw, Do you think this one would fit on a normal M&P? http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/...leitemid=721189
  7. I am looking for a nice adjustable rear sight for the M&P. Has anyone installed one? Knows who makes one? Thanks.
  8. 1.125 with MB 147's. I use 3.3 of VV N 320 or 4.1 Ram Sil for minor PF loads.
  9. I use 3.3 VV N320 or 4.1 Ramshot Sil with the 145 MB. They both chrono at around 130 PF and make the cleanest round holes in the paper out of my CZ SP01. No smoke, no tumbling and soft.
  10. I am getting failure to fire with Winchester Small Pistol primers, but not with CCI primers. I actually had to go change my mainspring during a match to finish. What do you think the ranking is between primers? (From soft to hard) Federal softest? CCI Remington Magtech Winchester
  11. Last night, I got 97% and 98% of available points on two stages. The third stage was weak hand strong hand shooting, so didn't do as well:) My goal is to shave off 5 seconds from the average stage that we shoot and then another 5 seconds eventually. You think I should aim for 90% as fast as I can? Is that an OK goal? I guess I can always come back to accuracy. I did read Brian's book:) and Saul's and Steve's.
  12. I have been shooting IPSC for three months now, handguns for less than a year, but I shoot a lot. I shoot a single stack .45 1911. I know I picked a difficult first division. During our local practice matches, I am usually -2 or -3 for each stage, as in all Alphas and two or three Charlies. The problem is I am super slow. I have been told I am getting too many Alphas. I think I am solid C, although I have not shot qualifiers yet. I usually shoot with the C's and occasional B's. When I compare my points to the rest of the shooters, I am a few points above the GM's and M's (all classes), but about 20 seconds behind them:) My problem is that a lot of people are kicking my behind overall, even though their score is 20-30 points below mine, but they are 10 seconds faster. I have a lot of work to do on my mag changes, draws, transitions and movement. Am I better off keeping up the accuracy and shaving time off gradually? Or am I better off going for speed and accepting lower hits? I just want to make sure I am on the right path... Thanks in advance for the help.
