    Nemo is busy, but I have instructed him to:

    1) Withdraw csemartin's membership

    2) Membership #13 will remain blank until Nemo and I decide to use that number again.

    The SSESC will not be addressed in such a manner, nor will we allow ANY ONE to dictate terms to us.

    WE all wish Mr. csemartin the best of luck in his endeavors.

    Alright, I will have to initiate a hostel take over say I am overmatched here. This dictatorship has over stepped its bounds truly has unlimited powers. I will not sit here idle as free mens voices are silenced, especially those that are preaching the one true JMB gospel sit here in awe and wonder of our leadership.

    I am here by overthrowing the current oligarchy to install a proper democracy to ensure our once only bu the grace of this great organization as it continues to on the path of true elitism and snobbery.

    All of you dirty mixers, consider this your warning - Repent and accept the 1911 as your one true gun - who would rashly consider protesting the leadership of this club be forwarned that should you do so the day of judgment is coming. :ph34r:

    After 24 hours of reflection, I have decided that I know longer belong in this "club".....

    I do not own a rifle or a shotgun. I don't play with Glocks, Sigs, HK's, Berettas, Tangfolios, or revolvers, etc. I only shoot 1911's. I do have two airsoft pistols, but they are 1911's as well.

    Before I left IDPA, I only shot CDP. Now, I shoot SS--exclusively. I'm only classified in L10 because I shot a classifier match before SS was recognized.

    I am as ELITE as it gets!! You guys are imposters, and I'm embarrassed to be associated with you. You guys can all go on pretending to be whatever you think you are, but do it without me.

    I will consider staying in this group with the following demands:

    1. I am to be named member #45

    2. I will maintain my voting status

    3. I will be given a board position

    4. And I get the ban stick for 48 hours so I can clean this place up.

    My demands aren't negotiable. Please be careful, I may be the last hope for this club.

    Give the man what he demands.

    A lot of my guns have a dark past, or at least parts of them do.

    A revolver used in a suicide is the only one I have the whole story on, but as a police armorer my Grandpa had to destroy a lot of guns used in crimes or picked up off of criminals. Back then they only had to destroy the frame or serial numbered part, i guess, so many of the guns in my collection are pieced together with parts from crime guns.

    One of my favorites is a chrome 70 series 1911 with mother of pearl grips, a pimp gun picked up from an actual 70's pimp... had to be rebuilt on an essex arms frame, but the effect is the same :D

    How many of you have gotten in trouble for something you did IN YOUR WIFES DREAM?!?!?

    I can handle being an idiot for not doing the chores, spending money on toys, and all the other faults I actually have. But, man, it really gets me when I am in trouble for something I did in her dream..

    needing those things if your frustrations and concerns come to fruition. At least that is what I assume he means.

    In regards to the other half of your post...

    While the no political policy is great in principle and spirit, I too feel that it comes with a twinge of an "oh shucks" feeling as I am sure 99% of the people here of on the same page and it is hard to find a like a community like that.

    I think you can take a deep breath and to not worry so much. People like myself and a lot of others of like mindedness are the silent majority, those that do not participate in polls, eat the bs spoon fed by the media, bumper sticker our cars, or put signs in our yard. :cheers:

    Further regression for the sake of history and antiquity has to have a limit. If we are not careful with these cylindrical firearms, we might find our fair sport with divisions for bow and arrows...

    Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of Uncle Ted and I can relate to the spirit of the wild when is come to hunting game with a bow. If you got the notion of disrespect from my post.. I don't know what to tell you.

    But of all people to remind, I am a little socked, this is not the " 1911 Single Stack/Bow and Arrow/Revolver/ Elitist Club.. :angry2:

    This is why dictatorships will always fail.. The people will revolt and not stand for oppression! VIVA LA REVOLUTION !! I will lead the charge for rebellion if our leaders will not uphold the spirit of this once fine club and install a proper democracy to secure our snobbish ways for generations to come. True patriots of JMB will not allow a spineless oligarchy to turn this into the "Anything goes elitist club"

    Now, I would require proof of use in competition or out right blasphemy of our sacred 1911 as ownership of inferior weaponry shouldn't be grounds for dismissal.

    I would like to a slightly harsher reaction and wording from our leadership that filtering with indiscretions such as these is a dangerous path to walk for our membership and those that flirt with darkness, of any deviation from the one true divine pistol, will be watch and followed carefully.

    The Good Doctor was merely putting some light on possible dissonance to the fraternal order of JMB purist, and his efforts to guide fellow member back into the light that should not have been met with such hostility. Saving a brother from the grasp of darkness, even if by being a little snitch, is an honorable action.

    I shot my 3rd USPSA match a couple weekends ago using my Norinco parts gun and 10rd Wilson mags in L10. It worked well and I had a helluva good time. I love my singlestacks. :D

    "Trick" basepads....

    Is that the largest magwell Techwell makes? Does the gun with magwell fit the box with the slight modifications?

    Yeah that is the XT model. And it will fit the box without the modifications, it is the basepads that you have to worry about. With the magwell shorter you have more of the base pad sticking out to seat the mags reliably. There is another size techwell that is smaller that would save the time of grinding it down, but I didn't like the contour of the smaller one's "well" as much.

    I ended up grinding my techwell XT down quite a bit. I had trouble seating mags because the mag's base pad would sit in the "cup" of my palm and I would hit the techwell with my thumb pad. The base pads where as long as possible to fit in the box with the techwell, but Couldn't seat them unless my palm was perfectly flat.

    The only problem I can see, Joe is now you gotta bring up the level of the gun they're on to match those parts you made. Great work on items that so often are an afterthought.

    Yep, if you can make those cool little parts you can serrate the back of the slide and extractor. We know you have the skills!

    I know it was killing PappaJ not to mess with it, but that slide holds a certain sentimental value so I can't allow it to be molested. :ph34r:

    My thumb wasn't even close to the racker, and so far hasn't been bitten. But I've come to think it will only take one sloppy draw to really put a hurting on me so I will be having PappaJ bend this sucker up and out of the way to be sure.

    The knob is perfect and sits just about level with the bottom of the glass, but his newer version looks to be a big improvement and I am a little jealous now.. :roflol:
