Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Can I use a G19 barrel in my G26? I'm thinking of Storm Lake or Lone Wolf. I'm thinking I can. I'm pretty sure a G17 barrel won't work though. Correct?

    AA .22 conversion

Keith How does it shoot the bulk stuff? I forget which Remington brand they said not to use, but my old one shot those perfectly, along with the Federal bulk HP's and CCI blazer. I have a ton of .22 bulk ammo and I'd hate to have to use mini mags as they run quite a bit more than the standard bulk stuff. I see your in MN, if you'd ever be interested in selling or letting me have a run with it let me know.
  4. You must have read that one one of those "mall ninja" forums!! I firmly believe its the bullet, not the powder charge or the primer for pistol rounds. I've had Kimber's that would shoot any bullet. I had a Colt that would shoot any jacketed bullet or a lead 230 gr great. But, even the 185's would get 4" at 25 off a bag rest. I did have a Para that wouldn't shoot 185 or 200's unless the powder charge was right on. But then other Para's (same type of barrel) that would shoot anything fine. Maybe the one barrel was a bit rough, I don't know. But really, come on, these guys are wasting time tinkering, so they don't really have to shoot.
  5. Oh, I don't know, maybe FATHERS NOT STICKING AROUND?

    AA .22 conversion

Anyone have a .22 conversion for their compact Glock? Good, bad, ugly?? I see people seem to like the fullsized ones, but was thinking of picking one up for my G26.
  7. I've used many Storm Lakes and a Lone Wolf. Dropped right in.
  8. If you are only using the U die, you may - probably - will need to use lube. On my 9mm setup, I use the Dillon die, then the U die and I do not need lube.

    Glock barrels

Like all the others have said, all day long. I wonder how these urban legends get started?? :-) Last spring my buddy ran out and bought a Colt because "Colt doesn't make guns anymore".
  10. Kind of depends. If you like black sights, the Heinie slant pro's have good reviews.
  11. I'd just start with the basic 550B with nothing else and go from there. I never used a roller handle or strong mount and did fine. The add on's can be added later. I started on a 550B and never loaded before and it was easy. I did get the video, which for $6 was worth it IMO. If you save 1/2 and hour of time, you got your $6 back.
  12. Interesting read. In Minnesota, landlords cannot ban guns. So, each leased store has to be posted in order to ban guns. Malls can't ban permit holders from carrying there. Now, some malls up here do have signs, but they are never posted properly. The mall I frequent has on sign on each entrance on the side wall as you come in. You really have to look for it. Funny thing is there's a Dicks Sporting Goods store in the mall now and they sell guns None of the anchor stores have the signs. The Mall of America had the signs prominently posted when our law was passed, but slowly but surely they have taken them down or put them in spots less noticiable. Now Bass Pro is coming to that mall, so I kind of wonder how they'll ban guns there. By the way, the signs here are basically meaningless. If you get caught with a gun, the owner has to tell you to leave, and if you don't, then you get a $25 trespassing ticket.
  13. Hef has many "wives" 1/4 of his age. I'm going with Hef. Hugh Hefner says to never give lingere to women as b-day or Xmas gifts. Who you going to believe, Hef or Tightloop...come on now..
