Combat Darwinism.
I like that term
Oh well, they've got their game, we've got ours.
The biggest difference is that we stand a much better chance of walking off of the range when it's over instead of being wheeled off in a hefty sack with zippers.

Leave your seat and crimp dies set for hardball and a reasonably decent running 45 will eat them with no problems whatsoever. Start adjusting for COL with different bullets and your 45 will start choking.
Yep, very true. I don't toy with mine at all switching between 200 and 230's, and they all feed/fire fine.
6 grains is way too much red dot with a 230 grain bulletthe OAL needs to be 1.250 with the SWC bullets

I was using 4.2 grains with 200 grain LSWC and was still in the 190 PF.
I have used 4.2 GR of Promo, the equivalent of Red Dot and was in the 188PF range according to my logbook.
Just junk the SWC and stick to RN. It works in all guns of good quality. As said before reliability is more important than nice round holes in the target. Yuo need to be calling your shots in any case and not looking at bullet holes in the paper.Johann... he got them FREE No need to junk them unless they are way out of spec, in which case I'll take them and even spring for postage

I rem, ember doing this last year... I didn't even realize it until the last stage and felt the pressure increase exponentially. Nice job and I hope you can repeat it often!

OK... I finally read the posted youtube comments and understand the tumbling now. Good gravy my head hurts.

I am a big fan of 115's, don't like 147's in the SP01.
I could never get 100% reliability from them myself when i had my SP01. 124/125's were ok, but the 147s turned it into either a jam-o-matic, or when loaded shorter to prevent FTFs, a tumbling bullet launcher. I gave up.

We're all safe for awhile, as the A/C system for it is out of order for the foreseeable future. And I was so looking forward to seeing what would happen.

CONTACT !
-
Yeah, the 180 violations during the tumbling portion of the show were downright scary, and I think if I hear someone say "contact" at a match, I'd freeze up like a deer in the headlights. I would LOVE to hear the official reason for it. Is this related to the mall ninja joke running around? It may actually be grounded in reality with these uhhh "operators". Scary.

I recently wrote about this here.

My M&P .40 is the most reliable pistol I own...not picky about ammo, cleanliness, etc. You can get quite a few things to customize it from Speed Shooter Specialties, and their 'smith Pedro kicks out an excellent trigger along with the excellent customer service there. Nice sights, triggers, magwells, and everything else you'll need is there. It is a great pistol to run in Limited and Limited 10 IMO. Good luck, and search around, there's tons of info here.

I am so sorry to hear this story...brings back memories of what happened around here a few years when we were getting hammered with one storm after another. Generators are HOT items in times like these. I hope the douches get tagged for something else stupid, and you get it back. You definitely have my sympathy.

An email from Ben, a consumer service manager who has been helpful in the past with other non-posted data-
"I am sorry but we have not developed any data for Clay Dot in handgun cartridges. For the cartridges you have mentioned, (9MM,.40 S&W,.45ACP)Unique would be a good choice. Have you tried it before?
Thanks for your interest in contacting us and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Soooo...... proceed at your own risk, as no official testing has been done. Oh well, it was worth asking.

Oh yeah... it happens. I have escaped this over the last 10K or so of 9MM I have loaded, but in the beginning, it was hell. Yes, .380 will chamber and fire, but the giveaway for me was FTE problems. I dumped all of my 9MM brass on the garage floor and sorted it again, haven't had an issue since.
And yes, small primer brass in .45causes small blue clouds to float around the property after every work stoppage. PITA.

Here I tweaked it for you:
Oh evil

I have sent an inquiry email to them regarding this and will share any reply that I receive.

I have ordered magazines from these folks before, and they show them in stock at this minute.

Guys, thanks for the answers. Going out with holster for the first time in 2 months after work tomorrow PM with a clear mind and focusing on the basics.

I'm tired of the gubment giving my money (taxpayer funds) to firms that are going under due to inept management, poor decisions, and/or greed. ...It's time for accountability, not bailouts.
dj
I concur wholeheartedly... taking money from those without a say {taxpayers} is flipping weak and wrong headed.
I hope no one takes this personal.I don't take it personally...I'm just a network guy behind the scenes that keeps the transactions safe and secured.

I have photos from the northern end of the sandbox from '91, not OEF/OIF. If interested, I'll scan and share.

Oh my PM name of store at your leisure, please.
You apparently exercised more restraint than I am capable of.... I might've been tempted to call them out.

Which one?

TL, for whatever it's worth from me.
Scotch Bonnets or Yellow Habaneros for my garden this year?

I have seen this one a few times over the years, and similar variations. It still makes me chuckle, though. Thanks for sharing!
New Ramshot Data...

I'll have to compare this to the data that is listed on the container label on the lb. of Enforcer powder that I have. The reccomended .45 load put me at a hand bruising PF of 215 Ouch.
