usmc1974 Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) I took my new Aero precision 6.5 creedmoor AR10 with 18 inch heavy barrel out for the first time gave it the good break fire 1 clean for the first 10 rounds then after 5 rounds clean for 20 more rounds. The problem came when I put the suppressor on it did not want to push the bolt back hard enough to cycle and fire the next round. This is where I come for advice. wgj3 Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Think problem is actually that you had so much back-pressure from the can that it wasnt closing correctly/completely. Likely you may need an adjustable gas block to turn it down a touch when running the can. Could likely set it to just lock back with can removed and then still be ok with can fixed.
