alecmc
The dx sights are the quick connect ones, they pop in and out under a spring and plunger. You want pinned, you'll need to drill it out in the proper location
safeactionjackson
I'd consider a 4" 617 also, especially if you plan on using it for classes/instructing. They might be hard to find, but are worth it. Personally I prefer the 4" over the 6" for 99% of my shooting, although I also own a 6" model.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Responds to trigger work as it's big brothers (but you can't go as light). Same parts as other S&W revolvers. Screws and springs. I have one with a scope and one hot rodded with a custom barrel. I now need to find cheap 22 ammo. (5-6 cents / round) The local gun shop had 400 .22's for $19.99. Lowest I have seen for a long time.....

I want to get speed loaders for it. Which ones should I get/look for? You could get a couple/few of the DS10 speed loaders : https://ds10speed.wordpress.com/ds-10-im-ds-10-impbt/ The 617 is an ammo hog
