ShanePennington
Hello, I want to get a nice shooting belt for my son. He is 10 years old and average size (size 12-14 pants maybe?). I've already got a holster and mag pouches, but need to get a belt. I'd like to get him something that has some adjustability since he'll be growing, but I know that I'll need to replace it every 3-4 years if not sooner depending on wear anyway. I currently use a CR Speed belt for myself, but the smallest size that I found was a 32" which is very large. I know that I can just wrap the excess around, or cut it off, but I didn't know what everyone else is using for smaller people. Thanks for your input. Aircooled6racer
Hello: What I did for my son was use the inner belt to hold all of the pouches and holster. As he grew the next day it would still fit him. He would use the back belt loop and the front two to hold it in place. He was 9 years old at the time and on the small size. It would hold 3 mag pouches and the holster just fine. Hope this helps. Thanks, Eric
ShanePennington
Thanks for the input Eric. I'll give it a try. He can't wait to shoot a match in production.
bafsu92
My son is similar in size and he uses a size S Black Scorpion belt. It works great with around 6" of overlap
IATURNKEY
I cut down a Bianchi accu-mold belt (1-1/2) for my son.
