Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I just spent the last hour or so setting up two matches with the same match date (not sure that matters) on clubs.practiscore then one match in the Practiscore program. I used the PIN from each registration site (I had registered 3 shooters in each) and it downloaded both and combined the squads. Pretty slick. Thanks for answering just the same. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Has anyone tried setting up two registration sites for the same match? For example, one for paid shooters and one for staff (yes, I know you can "approve" paid, comped and staff). Will the Practiscore PIN number system work for the import of registrations from both sites into the same match?
  3. If anyone else runs into this problem, we have a work around. Russell at Niftybytes was very quick to respond. Select the little wheel in the upper right corner of the screen and choose "Portrait". It refreshes the screen and shows the results.
  4. Further clarification. iPad is running new iOS that updates programs automatically. Nooks are still at 1.2.9 as we are getting ready for a large sanctioned match at the end of March and didn't want to make any changes on a proven system. Guess I should have turned off the iPad auto update.
  5. I've been relying on this report to view and share IDPA results but this month I find it missing on the iPad. It is still present on the Nook but I use the iPad as a master. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Alan
  6. Corrected registration site - matchsignup.org. It's getting full.......
  7. We have been on Practiscore since since last June and are getting ready to use it at a major match we are hosting in March so I was researching the program a bit more to ensure I had full knowledge of its capabilities. I found a User Guide from Oct 2011 that includes a page or two showing a "clubs" button between Match and Sync. It appears to give you some access to the registration database for corrections, etc. My devices do not have this option. Yours? I've been exporting the registration each month into a spreadsheet and doing the clean up that way for easier access to the email addresses and verifying I collected all of the information for each shooter.
  8. Thanks for the reply. I sent the request a while back but thought I would ask here. By "IDPA sort" I meant we need the results sorted first by Division then by Classification. The combined results are fun to look at and I always send those anyway but are not the official results for IDPA. Thanks for a great program!
  9. We ran our match yesterday using two iPads as the masters. One was a mini with iOS 7 and it ran fine. Any further word on the possible update to the program to handle the IDPA 'sort' ?
  10. "When uploaded to the website it does not sort by division and class correctly. This was working on earlier versions." We have been using Practiscore to score our IDPA matches for several months and really like the program except for the above issue you mentioned. We need it to list the Class in the standings and sort by Division then Class. Right now I am dumping everything into a spreadsheet, adding the class then resorting the results. Takes a bit of time but still much faster than inputting scores like we used to do. Any chance we could get that last sort to work? The overall is fun to look at but are not official results for IDPA. Alan
  11. Patrick +1 As a MD for my local club I would have had him remove the glove. Alan
  12. +1 on Rob's answer. You either need to paste or remember where the required head shots hit. Otherwise, your just guessing. SO error - reshoot.
  13. I was also present for this match as MD. The possible violation occurred behind a vision barrier that would not allow anyone but the SO and possible score keeper to see what happened. IMHO, Jon absolutely made the right call especially with a Jr shooter. That would include allowing him a reshoot since he stopped him prior to a safety violation. The biggest issue is that I did not require the stage builder (although I recommended it) to erect another wall to allow more time for the reload before turning then more time again when advancing on the last target array. This was our first use of a full vision barrier with surprise targets. Alan
  14. Pat, Nice to see someone stepping up for the '09 season. Hope it works out and look forward to getting back that way to throw a few down range with you again. Alan B.
