Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I've used XS sights on my glocks for about 2 years with only one complain, targets beyond 30 yards. For me its very fast in sight acquisition, but like with any new accessory it takes some getting use to. A lot of people have different takes with different sights number one reason is usually that's what they are used to or it works for them, there will always be pros and cons, my take is try them all and pick the one that works for you. Just MHO with no scientific basis just my own meandering experience.
  2. My friends have shot a lot of Masters Blasters Bullets thru all of their glocks with no problems and no issues and this is with OEM barrels. If you look inside the barrel you'll notice that it has a shinny black color, I think (and please don't quote me on this) this is tennifer finish too.
  3. Nice pic sir HoMIE I see the crowd was really in to it.
  4. Here they are in the .Here they are in Chile singing And my personal favorite
  5. First time to go to a concert, it was a blast. First act was cheap trick with lead singer Robin Zander who is from the bay area by the way, followed by heart whose voice echoed all the way to I4, then there was Journey. The band sounded like it did 30 years ago, uncanny resemblance. The only thing I regret is that I didn't check the memory on my camera, coulda gotten more pics and vids. :angry2: Heres a reviewfrom yesterdays paper
  6. Please do this maybe something I'm willing to do to change the sights to Bo-mar on mine.
  7. I'm about to purchase one of these and wanted to know if this is legal in USPSA and/or IPSC production and if these has been discussed before please direct me to the right thread. Thank you in advance.
  8. I believe that the Novak cut would have to be welded up to then recut it for Bomars. Just a follow up question on the off topic question, can a gunsmith just move the bomar sights like in the case of the TRP in which the Bo-mar is way upfront.
  9. Dave Sevigny used that in 2007 Georgia State IDPA match.
  10. So you can't shoot the swinger on the move, and that saying you can is just bad judgment on the part of the designer??
  11. Outside the house there are 2 paper targets on both sides and 1 pepper popper on the left side after which you open the door enter the hallway but there is a paper target at the end of the hallway visible when you open the door and at the end of the hallway to the left side there is an opening and 3 more paper targets are waiting. Question When you enter the door can you specify in the briefing that you can engage the threat at the end of the hallway when you enter as long as they are moving towards it or engage the threat before you enter the hallway (ie pie the door) which one is better. About ESP and SSP if they choose to engage the threat while moving thru the hallway they will run dry and will have to do a reload in the hallway. Hallway is hard cover of course, but the question is, is that legal. Reloading in front of a threat whether eliminated or not. Or is this just bad course design and just remove the threat at the end of the hallway visible when you open the door. Please direct to the right thread if this scenario has already been discussed.
  12. Just wanted to clarify the FF You can use drop turners in IDPA Drop Turners are Permanently disappearing targets and there for will not be assessed FTN's Swinging targets will be assessed FTN's if you miss -1 Please correct me if I'm wrong want to know if I got it right.
  13. The S&W external extractor is not basic JMB design yet it is legal in SS.
