Caspian Mag Basepad Comparison

Here is a comparison of the two different style of basepads for the Caspain Hi-Cap mags being made by ACT.

The short pad might need a little trimming to fit the IPSC Box for Std Division. I know with the rear sight I have the Gun with mag does not fit the ISPC Box I have made.

Currently I am using the Grams springs and followers available from Henning's store here on BE. They are the ones for the Tanfoglio magazines.

and how many rounds can you fit inside the ipsc compliant mag with thw grams spring and follower? also can i use the grams kit ofr sti for the caspian mags?

Using the Grams spring and follower for the 140mm Mag I can get 16rds in the mag using the IPSC base pad. If I was to tune the spring I could probably get at least one more may a second.

You could probably use the Grams Follower in the original design mags, but the spring will pose an issue with the Caspian base pad. The spring needs to have its coils narrower.
