  11. thanks a lot guys, those replies were fast. do i need to ream the barrell chamber or just use it as it is? if i ream it will it damage the barrell? any loads for 3n37 or 3n38 because those are the powders here that are easy to get access to. by the way will the aet work well with moly coated heads? so i guess im on the right track
  12. hi guys im in the process of building my first open gun. first of all im from the philippines so i would be using 38 super, 9mm brass is not free here. i would like to use a schuemann ultimatch AET barrell chambered in 38 super. and i already have a beddell 7 port comp. would this kind of combo work? or do i just stick with the ultimatch barrell? i would like to stay away from poople holes as much as possible, so both barrells dont have hybrid ports with them. do i need to cut the comp and just make it a 5 port comp to make it run flatter? and also the powder of choice here in my place is Vitha Vouri, what kind of loads would you guys recomend for my kind of set up. i know this are a lot of questions but i think a lot of guys can help me on this before i start the build so i wont be wasting that much time and resources thanks a lot joel

  15. hi there everyone a friend gave me a 625-8 smith and wesson revolver in 45acp as a gift and i already purchased my north mountain moon clip holder from shooters connection, im planning on trying out the revolver division in ipsc ( im in the philippines) i have 2 questions: 1. when you try to engage a target and a dud happens and you just move on to the next target with out re engaging the target with a round that goes bang will you get penalized for not engaging it? i asked this question because when i was practicing with the new gun i experienced some light primer strikes that did not make the bullet go bang. 2. when the stage briefing says you must start with gun on table no chamber load will you have to start with you cylinder empty? if you start with cylinder empty is it okay if the cylinder is open so that it would be easier to put in the moon clip? thanks
  16. long time lurker here but my fisrt post i think on this matter, will tr it out when i get to the range! cant wait to di this and most importantly cant wait for part 2

  21. hello everyone, first time to post here but been a long time lurker. i have an inquiry for those using caspian hi cap frames for standard div, im from the philippines and im on the process of building my hicap caspian frame into a standard gun in 40, i already have everything just for the gunsmith to assemble it. my problem is with the magazines, i just got my magazines the 18 rounders with the cape base pads, my problem is it does not seem to fit in the ipsc box, any suggestions on where i can get the base pad that will fit the box. if there is one how would the capacity be? thanks everyone
