Guninhand
What I like is that I am me. There is no one else's mind that I would rather have. (Bodies are something else )

Guninhand
Your psychiatrist will be glad to hear that...We are all unique and should rejoice in that fact. Actually, I don't think everyone being unique is anything to celebrate. My point was that there are so many other people I'm thankful that I'm not. Think of the millions of people who are anti-gunners, or socialists, communists, etc. These are people deserving of repudiation, even if they are kind and loving. I am expressing thanks that I'm not one of those millions going from cradle to grave as a fool. I believe I've been blessed with enough insight and wisdom to recognize truth and objectivism, and obviousness. I also realize I must have faults I'm blind to,besides the ones I'm aware of, and independent self evaluation is probably impossible. Yet there is a world of distinction and manifest supremacy between my mentality and that say of Karl Marx, or Bill Clinton. I could put up with having the mind of Thomas Sowell or Teddy Roosevelt, and might even like it better, but I am supremely happy with my mind as it is. I would like more memory, intelligence, and knowledge, but it is the rationalization structures and value systems that I'm talking about, that which when proper in absolute terms amounts to wisdom.
