David If you are talking about their forearms for the AR15 rifles, these are high quality units but there are others just a well made which are smaller and weigh a lot less. I would encourage you to look at the Yankee Hill, Clark, JP and Hogue forearms. All are much lighter and smaller and you might even save some money. Are there heat issues or does the rubber helps here? I really like the Hogue which provides a very positive surface to grip and is completely comfortable. There are heat issues with every forearm and I use a baseball type glove on my weak hand but the heat issue is less on the Hogue than other types which feature only bare metal.
