chendersby
OK Dillon guys. Been loading on a 650 for close to 15 years. I won a new one at SMM3gun ( thanks for sponsoring). The base for the shell holders is much improved from the old one. Am I going to need to readjust all my tool head setups for the new machine? Been waiting to breakout the new machine for fear I may have to do this.
Nik Habicht
You might --- in which case I'd suggest dedicating some tool heads to each machine, perhaps splitting by primer size. In the alternative, consider selling the new 650 and putting the money toward a 1050 purchase in your most loaded caliber?
z40acp
The one machine for small primers and the other for large primers is a good idea. Or dedicate one for that most reloaded caliber. That is what I do, so I never get caught without a machine ready to load 40. Chances of two machines being exactly the same is probably remote so I would heed Nik's advice about toolheads. chendersby
Thanks guys I was afraid It would involve adjusting all 5 of my set ups. I may dedicate the new machine to 9mm major and set up the other for all the others since I load them less often. The large primer thing won't be good as I only load 45 once a year or so.
