You can also black a little of the fiber to dim it down if that is what you prefer. The fiber brightness can be adjusted to meet the conditions at the match. amen, Using a microdot and green fiber from brazos. I love it!!!! dbletap_ed Posted November 23, 2003 Author Share Posted November 23, 2003 Well I tried the yellow rod and it does indeed work much better for me than the red one. I can now see the entire sight in the notch when the sun is out bright. However, I still find myself looking at the dot to the point that I do not look at the entire sight. I guess I have been using the black post for so very long I am just used to it. For now I am going to keep the micro dot on the back up gun and keep playing with it on and off when I practice.
