Markk9
I know that the full lenght dust cover with light rail is a no-no, but what about a regular lenght dust cover with light rail? Mark
tightloop
I don't think there is anything which prohibits it, assuming it fits in the box and does not exceed the weight limit.
C Sims
If you are talking about a specific pistol, just email IDPA HQ and get a ruling.
vincent
What tightloop said. To elaborate a little bit, if you add a steel (1913) picatinny rail to the bottom of the standard 1911 dustcover it will probably add enough weight to take you over 41oz (including empty magazine), especially with a magwell, steel full length guide rod, etc. Wilson Combat offers the full size CQB with a standard dustcover and rail and it is listed at 44oz on their website.
