Bwana Six-Gun Posted June 6, 2009 Author Share Posted June 6, 2009 Having won their Regional, the Ole Miss Rebels got to host the Virginia Cavaliers (sp?) in the Oxford Super-Regional. First game was today and after 12 innings of tough baseball, the Rebels came out on top 4-3. Got to give Virgina credit, they led for 8 innings, before the Rebels tied it in the bottem of the ninth to take it to extras. They are a tough club and deserve to be where they are. The road to Omaha just got a little shorter for the Rebels, but they have to make sure they don't take a wrong turn tomorrow, cause Virginia will surely be out to make them do just that.
