Guest qstick
Another potentially indiotic question I received the EGW/Lee die and want to install it on my 550. The problem is that the lock ring is larger than what the Dillon wrench will fit (and the Dillon die), and any other wrench will not fit into the small gap available to turn the ring. I could take out the crimp die and make the process easy, but I am really hoping someone will tell me the non-idiot way to tighten the lock ring. Anyone??? Thanks, Zach
a-44978
Use the dillon lock nut,for some reason i had to put my lock nut for the factory crimp die on the opposit side. You don't have to put 500 foot pounds torque on it.snug is good
Ironman
Sorry I should have told you that you needed the Dillon Nuts. I bought a few extra because they seem to round after time. Jim

SVI4ME
Onmy Lee die I put the Lee nut on the bottom to get it down as far as it will go. Works great !!!!!!!! Rob
MoNsTeR
The Lee ring doesn't need to be wrench-tightened, your fingers will do fine.
