JorDanO
Thank God for practice. I went out to the range to practice for Double Tap, and my trigger return spring broke on my 5th shot. Angus shows he's out of stock, so I ordered a DA spring from Henning's shop to try. The springs look alike, but I was wondering if anyone had some past experience. ChuckS
Dunno about the witness stuff but I have gotten TRSs from Angus (call him) and CZ-USA (call them) Perhaps Matt Mink or Jim Jim Miossi. You may want to get more than one. Trust me... Later, Chuck PS: Slide stop is a good thing to have also...
JorDanO
Actually just called and Angus does have them. Crisis averted! I have had the gun about a year and have put a lot of rounds through it, plus a lot of dry firing. I figured the spring would break one of these days. I'm just glad it wasn't in a match. My last one broke dry firing the night before Area 5 a couple years ago. Had a spare with me Later, Chuck
pivoproseem
Yeah, if you dry fire them a bit the springs tend to not last too long. I've dry fired 4 into submission. I was at the range dialing in my load for 124s and my spring broke..just a few days before the OK State IDPA match. THe one in my 75 seems to last longer than the SP-01 for some reason.
