01 Z06
I am planning to go outside the US to shoot a rifle match with my AR15. On the return my first port of entry into the US will be Philadelphia where I will clear Customs than change planes to Los Angeles. Is there any restrictions on coming in with an AR15 and some hollow point 223 ammo in the State of Pensilvania? Thanks Ron
davidwiz
The Firearm Owners Protection Act 18 U.S.C. § 921 et seq. allows you to travel from one state to another as long as your origin and destination allows the firearm(s) you are carrying. In Philadelphia, it is legal to own any type of AR15, so you wouldn't have to worry about it in any event.
