21ravens
I'm building a new reloading bench and using Wiley Clapp's design. It features two inserts to mount presses and tools on, and I need to know what size to make the inserts so that I can use a Dillon Strong Mount for the 550 I'm ordering. Does anybody know? I looked on Dillon's site and the height measurement was useful, but they don't give footprint dimensions. After I get it done, I'll post pictures. 21ravens
My 650 mount is 10" deep and 11 3/8" wide.H. Thanks! I can work with that. The inserts allow me to slide the press and tools on & off the bench and will hold it rock solid when it's in use. If you'd like to see the design, here's the link: http://www.rifleshootermag.com/ammunition/benchs_022607/ I'm at the point where I'm making the inserts themselves. Thanks again! J.
