Freddie the Swede
Hi all, I'm looking for a ballistic program where I can input different bullet data such as ballistic cofficient, speed and such to get a overview for each shot. Do you know what and where I can get such a program. Thanks Fredrik Lundbeck PS. It's for Windows PC
bgary
Sierra's "infinity" suite is good http://www.sierrabullets.com/index.cfm?sec...p;page=infinity IMHO, "Exbal" (PC and handheld versions) is very good http://www.perry-systems.com/ and "Atrag" (handheld devices) is almost as good http://www.snipersystems.co.uk/id30.html But there are also a lot of online calculators out there on the internet. I use http://www.handloads.com/calc/ but if you do a search for "ballistic calculator" you'll find a plethora. B
iainmcphersn
I don't have a lot of experience with different programs but like Modern Ballistics. www.modernballistics.com It's shareware so you can try before you buy and it will run from a thumb drive so you can take your tables with you. The "Target" view from the "Sight" perspective is a neat feature, simulated view of where you need to hold based on trajectory and wind. George
RSI Shooting Labs also deserves a mention here. Good stuff, allows for custom BC data and much more. Available for PC & Mac. http://www.shootingsoftware.com/ballistics.htm
