Mikej
Sorry for the new shooter question. I am getting a 625 and did not see a 5 inch holster listed on the Safariland site. It seems likely that the 6 inch holster would be OK, but I wanted to ask.

pskys2
While it will work, the front retaining strap won't help much. I'm pretty sure if you call, Safariland they can get you a 5". FWIW I have a 4" 002 I used originally with a 4" M29. And I don't like it much, it's not real secure without that front strap, and that strap kept catching on the Classic (Interchangable) Front Sight blade and flipping it out. I am using the same 4" 002 with a 5" 625 but I added an extension with an old Ernie Hill Plug on it. With the support at the Muzzle it is ok. There are some Kydex Holsters out there that have adjustable angles. If I was going to switch I'd look at them. I know 2 of the top 4 at the 08 LPR Nationals either were, or are now, using a Kydex Holster for their 5" 625's.
Mikej
Thanks for the replies. Do you have a brand name for the Kydex holsters?
pskys2
I think Blade Tech. Just get one that has the lowest profile on the Revolver. I have one I think from Uncle Mikes that has way too much material around the Cylinder.
