Dillon Powder Measure

Recommended Posts

I just recently got a RL1050 which has the old style powder measure or it. I was looking at the ones from my 550 and they appear to be different so I went to the Dillon website and it seems they show a different one for the 1050 as well. Is there any difference or a way to adapt one from a 550 t0 a 1050?

If you call Dillon supply you all the parts to make your old powder measure a new style one. You may need to tell them exactly what you are trying to do. Just to ensure that they have all the info. Keep the spring from the old style bell crank system and use it on the new bell crank system.

This gives me much better load to load consistancy. I prefer the new double bell crank system to the old one but always put teh powder bar spring back on. As money allows I am converting all my powder measures to this system.
