joshua
Nice to hear it is working and reliable at that. I hope no one here thinks I'm the josh that made your gun. Though I don't mind having the talent in making a gun look good and shoot good. josh
dirtypool40
I handled that gun at last weekends match, it is AWESOME. Matt has himself something rare and wonderful there, built for him. Ooops, now he's out of excuses; "A" CARD COMING!!!!
walangkatapat
True to his word Josh repaired it. It runs great and passes all fit and function tests, 750 rounds jam free. That's great! The last time I talked to Josh he was laid up with a bad back.
blkbrd
The gun is now at 4500 rounds without one hiccup, including 3 local matches and the Florida Open. It is incredibly accurate at 1.5" 10 shots 50yd. off a rest. I have installed Grams Engineering spring and follower kits in all my mags and they are smooth and troublefree as well, they have more tension and wear better than any of the other 140mm mag spring combos out there. Although I only get 19 in my untuned SV mags, but they work 100%.
blkbrd
Gun is now past the 7000 round point without one hickup including the Florida Open and the Florida state championships and shootoffs. I am in the process of trying out some weight reduction measures and checking everything with a timer, plan on trying a Halfman Custom titanium guide rod, an Aluminum ICE mag well, and a stock plastic mainspring housing. dirtypool40
Does that include slaming it and yourself into the door during the FL Open?? Yup, I got that on tape.
blkbrd
Yep gun kept on working even though I lost skin on my head, elbow and shoulder, finger was out of the trigger guard when I hit the doorframe at speed. I guess its something to work on using your feet to stop instead of immovable objects? I need that tape.
dirtypool40
it means the trigger isn't so light that a little bump will set it off..... also means you had good gun handling.... Also means a damn "C" shooter will do anything to make the highlite reel. I have the tape and will bring it to the Sunshine state games at CFRPC.
