Rear Sight installation

Well,

Removed the elevation screw, took the whole upper section of the sight apart. Was left with the base. Had a tiny allen screw, and once I've removed it, used a wooden hammer to take the base out(left to right).

What Loctite should I use for the base? I can't recognize the type by looking at the residue(yellow).

And what should I use for the small allen screw on the base?

That's kind of what I'm afraid of :P Had encountered one too many grip screws with red loctite. A soldering iron didn't do the job...had to use a dremel. I know red loctite isn't that scary, and I'll probably use it in the end, just checking my options. The dovetail and sight both have yellowish residue on them. Is that blue loctite?
