pnmd
I've read a alot of positive things about the Beamhit. I have an STI Edge .40 caliber and Glock 19 I'll be using. I'm thinking of getting the one with the INTERNAL LT 500 laser. Is it worth the big cost over the LT 100? I think I'll get the one with the portable target. Not sure if I want to deal with the Windows computer version. Though there is alot more options, many cool targets... Does anyone have the computer version and is worth fooling with? Thanks, Peter from Magills.com: A- with external laser is $269 B- with INTERNAL laser is $449- BIG difference in price computer version with crazy targets:
Wakal
I bought the external one a few years ago. I couldn't get a Commander hammer to "shake" the laser unit enough to fire the darn thing. Sent it back. Bought an Airsoft instead Alex
Dick Gorges
I bought a computer version and love it. I shoot a STI 40 and use the barrel laser. I feel it is a very good investment for the serious shooters, and want a beees (like myself).
pnmd
http://www.firstshotcounts.com Grant M. Hermening , who is a retired policeman has the best prices I could find: (He told me he just sold $12,000 worth of Beamhit to local police) Beamhit® 700 Pro-1 with INTERNAL laser--- $365 -- really great price because I was going to order from Beamhit for $480. Beamhit with external laser-- $240 Wakal- Grant said you could have used A Zoom snap caps which would generate enough vibration to activate the laser: I told him I had an STI Edge and he recommends that I use the A Zoom. Dick- Does the Windows computer version it crash alot? I want the computer version because of all the options but sometimes I like to Keep It Simple.... Did you download any cool targets? Wakal
I followed the manufacturer's written directions using every semi-auto handgun I owned at the time (the revolvers all worked fine)... The "woooosh" the box made going back to the supplier was quite loud. But that is just my experience. The salesman said something different, ummm, big surprise there. Maybe they improved the system...someone else can find out for sure. Alex
