DMS42 Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 Is the NW Championship different than the NW Challenge? The last NW Challenge I remember was 2005. I think Joe just got burned out on doing them. The little pins that I got from 1984 said Northwest Intersectional Championships and the one from 1988 said Northwest Area Championships. Back then they were held at Interlake(?). I can't really remember the name of the range or the city. But it wasn't Marysville. Andy Hollar had something to do with it. Too many years and bad memory. I won C division and was upgraded to B just before the 1988 Nationals. I haven't gone to a match in the Seattle area since, mostly because of my involvement with the local Air Guard rifle and pistol teams. Maybe now that I'm retired I'll make some trips over that way.
