PINMAN44
My dad and I were looking into the Speed Sec holster or Limcat. We didn't know if we could use a CR because of the counter weight. This would be for the Steel Challenge. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!!! Thanks Robby Edited August 28, 2008 by PINMAN44

RodneyLtd
The CR speed would work fine. You can fit a semiauto with a full profile comp in them. The barrel profile on the revo with the weight does not look any bigger than a full profile comp on an auto loader.
quickbuzz
I am curious, is there any function to the shape of the underweight?
PINMAN44
Yendor- Thank you for your help I didn't realize that the CR could be used. Would it be easier to draw the gun with a holster such as the Speed Sec? Is the CR more secure than the Speed Sec or Limcat? I'm trying to find the holster that will suit me best. Thank you for your help I need guidance. Quick- I'm not sure if the shape of the counterweight dictates a certain function. I find it visually appealing and I love the feel and balance. PINMAN44
Anyone else have experience with counter weights and holsters?
Toolguy
I have pics of my holster in the revolver department under CRspeed conversion. It would work great with that gun. It's a Hogue conversion.
PINMAN44
That would be awesome to see. Is the conversion difficult?
Toolguy
The hard part is just making the parts. It's a simple matter to assemble it to the holster with 2 screws. Did you look at the pics and read the whole thread? Edited September 2, 2008 by Toolguy
PINMAN44
So you buy a basic model A holster and convert it? My thing is I would like to get a holster and not have to mess with it. I found the speed sec for 108 brand new. It's probably not as secure as the CR though.

Toolguy
Can you give me the link to the page with your pics? I don't know how to do that. It's in this Brian Enos Forum under the Revolver topic in the CRspeed conversion thread.
