Dustdevil21
I down loaded for a course of fire lonce, and had a failure to feed, unfortunately by the time I got it cleared it, I was short rounds to finish. I always load like I need the rounds to finish the course.
dsb45acp
I don't really load any differently for classifiers or a "regular" stage. 19 rounds in one mag (1 for a Barney round) and after loading it, all mags have 18 rounds in them. I always carry three spares on my belt. The way i shoot, I need all the ammo I can get!
Matt Griffin
This is one of those fun questions with a dozen variables, and no good answer. Download mags? Pros: 1. Mag is lighter, so you can theoretically move your hand faster on the reload. 2. Seating is easier 3. Mag is lighter, so it theoretically will accelerate faster out of the gun from the top round "pushing off" on the reload Cons 1. Everything feels different 2. Less spring tension means less "push off" from the top round on reload 3. Less weight means less inertia to seat with. 4. Less weight means harder recoil flip We could go on. I'm going to have to side with Flex, all the minutae (some of which cancel each other) are probably not as important as shooting how you practice. H.
