phara
Anybody use the moonclip straightener by TK custom or have other ways to straighten them? I've been saving all of my bent moons and finally have enough to justify buying one if they work! Also what calibers have you tried using them on. Do they work equally well on the 38's and 45's? I'm thinking they may work better on the thinner moons. Thanks, Paul
kaiserb
I usually toss the moonclips I step on in the practice pile. There is nothing like doing a reload in a match with a damaged moonclip. Only to find it will not load.
Tom Mainus
I have the one from TK Custom and it seems to work pretty well. I have only used it for my 38's. Those get bent all the time. Never tried it on a 45, I've never bent one of those.
phara
Thanks, I was hoping it would work because I have quite a few bent 38's that I have been saving. I'll buy one. I also have a number of 45's that I have bent. I think it was from using the competition works demooner tool incorrectly. However, some of my rounds are so hard to get out of the moons that I have broken two of the plastic demooner tools. I know they make one with aluminum arms now but I am afraid to buy another one because I suspect that I have bent some of my 45 moons using them.
